I needed an inexpensive printer for my home , and I was sick of dumping money into ink cartridges. This printer was a perfect solution. The wireless setup is easy, the print speed and quality are great, and the toner cartridges are reasonably priced. If you don't need color prints or want a laser printer to supplement your photo-printer, you can't go wrong with this little Canon.

This printer works well, prints fast, holds a good number of sheets of paper for a home user and was easy to set up. I'm happy with it.

In our two story house, running up/down stairs just to get a printed document from the color laser printer/scanner/fax/copier in the office was becoming frustrating so we decided to get a dedicated simple printer for one floor. Installation was relatively painless once the drivers were loaded. Note that you will need to initially run it as a USB connected device, and then switch to wireless. At the cost of less than a cartridge for our other printer, this was good value for money!

I needed a printer that I hardly use that can be left without drying up and ruining the print heads and thought I wouldn't find one but the assistant showed me this puppy and it does the job nicely also its all but silent which is not very important to me but there are those who find that sort of thing important all in all its just what I needed and at a real good price thanks.

Was looking for a printer specifically for inexpensive toner cartridges and this came up as the Deal of the Day I believe. Also found it on Amazon during the same time a bit cheaper, during the holidays I believe, but satisfied. Cartridges run around $11-$16 on Amazon for compatible toner cartridges with about 1800-2000 pages. Just black and white but is what we were looking for at the time to print paperwork/documents and labels. Setting up the wifi was a bit of a chore, but works great for computers and laptops. Never did get it to work for Chromebooks or phones/tablets.

Setup (normally simple for a printer) was a bit difficult. Had to call Canon customer service due to problems with the print driver. Problem eventually solved and the printer now works fine. I don't use the printer very often so I like the fact that the top is covered when not in use (and therefore not collecting dust).

Works well, had trouble connecting to wifi initially.

Fast and Easy Set Up. The printer works great so far no problems. Prints fast and clean.

I work for Canon and this printer is solid for being so small. Does all the B&W prints I need for my side business, right from the tip of my fingers.

This is a great little printer for the price. We had finally had enough with inkjet printers, and wanted something simple that would print when we needed it - this one works perfectly. The wireless is very easy to set up, and works the first time as long as you follow the directions specifically. We can print from our Windows laptop, iPad, and Android phones without problems.

We use this to print coupons, kids homework etc. It is shared over our network so everyone can use it. Only downfall is it doesn't support printing from an iPhone or iPad.

Good basic laser printer for occasional low volume printing, toner lasts a long time and doesn't go bad like inkjet cartridges. Wifi setup could be simplified and work more consistently, after a period of non Wifi usage it disappears from my network and I have to redo the Wifi setup for my PC to find it.

Once I was able to install, the printer was great. I Had hard time installing on Mac, I had to delete any printer previously added on Mac. It took me about two days searching on youtube for someone with a solution.

Printer is very portable size. Printer comes with starter toner instead of regular standard toner. Supposed to work with compatible generic printer toner.

Great print quality. Convenient size. Highly recommend.

Nothing fancy. Print fast. The WiFi connection is great and useful. The only thing I don't like is that the paper feeder is uncovered, so if paper is kept inside, the door cannot be closed, overtime dust can accumulate.

I am thrilled at how quiet and fast this printer works! I thought it was spitting out paper in rapid fire mode(unprinted) but when I picked up the bundle I realized that it was completing my task that fast! I have not purchased a new printer for many years......now I wish I had upgraded sooner.

I was tired of buying ink for ink jet printers every month. The last one I bought I spent over 100.00 trying to fix it. The ink cartridges became extinct so all of that money was a waste. This small compact printer does a grat job and it is wireless so it can connect to different devices.
