This printer was very easy to set up. Color-coded plastic made unpacking the printer extremely clear and easy. Connecting it to devices was seamless--they saw the printer immediately. The iOS app has worked very well for scanning, and printing wirelessly from all devices is simple and just works. It's smaller than our prior laser printer, and the cover over the paper tray is helpful to prevent dust buildup long-term. I have no criticisms of the printer at all!

I was tired of always buying expensive ink for my old printer. Even when yellow was empty and I was trying to print black and white it wouldn't let me. I decided a laser printer was the way to go. I rarely need color so this is the perfect printer for me. It copies, scans and prints all wireless. It will print strait from my iPhone or Mac without any additional apps or settings. It prints fast, clean and quiet. I haven't replaced the ink yet and i've made several hundred copies and prints. For the $90 I paid for this printer I couldn't be happier.

When I bought this printer I thought I'm taking risk but by using it for a while I observe this is an Excellent Printer what I really need. I print my work so quickly I can't believe it. I use it for scanning my documents. I make photo copies many times it works perfect. I used to spent $30 for the other printer cartridges like every month. But this printer gives me a little break I print about 500 pages already and still printing. Before it run out of toner I find it for $25. which is very good price as compare to other litter printers. I can happily recommend this printer to any one. Some of the Technical things Flat Bed Scanner : Easily scan any doc or photo. Multiple options of image file selection like document or photo etc and Pic in Grey or Color for scan. Tilt Display. Two ways to insert paper. single sheet or hand feed tray.I used it when I have photo copy for both sides. Auto feed tray. USB CONNECT. ENERGY SAVOR.

Tired of replacing ink cartridges in my old Lexmark, I went shopping at Best Buy for a reasonably priced home laser. Wireless and a scan capability were essential. I could not be happier with this Canon. It's first print is exceptionally fast, and the print quality is excellent. Yield is supposed to be good, but we'll have to see.

For a black and white printer, this is hands down the BEST printer you could buy. Prints fast, easy to set up to your network (wired or wireless), and the cartridge lasts FOREVER. They're also much more cost efficient than ink cartridges, around $70 each and they would last through about 2,500 prints. Worth every penny, grab this bad boy before they're out of stock!

After researching I decided on this printer and I'm very glad I did. It was very easy to set up and I've printed wirelessly from my desktop, laptop, iPad and iPod touch. I like how the printer goes into energy saving mode when not in use but always wakes right up and prints when I send something to it. Very pleased w this Cannon laser printer.

I didn't want to spend a fortune on a multifunction printer. Also, I got burned several times by printers that support "mobile device printing" (i.e AirPrint, etc) but then can't if the printer goes to sleep. This printer was the perfect intersection of price and function. I recommend this Canon imageClass to those who print moderately, are on a budget and are sticklers for quality.

Printer is quick and easy to set up and very intuitive to use. It hangs out in sleep mode and when I need to print something, it is awake and prints without warm up time. Scanning documents is quick and easy too.

I needed a replacement for my Samsung color laser and was thinking I could upgrade my old Canon LIDE scanner. I don't print in in color much and scan only on occasion. And my non-PC infrastructure has proliferated to Mac, Ipad, etc, so this seemed like a good option. Setup was fairly easy (the document pictorials could be a little better), and after getting it on the network, adding mac, Ipads, work PC, etc took literally seconds. I'm very happy with the print and scan quality and speed. It is also much quieter than most printers (and scanners) that I've owned. I would buy this again and only minimally miss the color printing (but not the color toner costs).

    Canon MF212w -- good printer

Setup was a breeze, after removing all the plastic and some plastic tabs to hold the cartridge from moving or falling off. After power on first sheet prints many times fast, but I'm noticing when it is not ready yet it doesn't print, noticed this especially when printing from iPad. Print quality is fine, acceptable for most home office use. I did scan photos to iPhone using Canon M scanning app, it scanned in 300dpi I think, not sure if 600dpi would have shown difference. I can live with lower resolution. My setup currently wireless, it wasn't very intuitive interface to enter SSID etc., but only once required. The power button is great, I have been turning it off during night. Overall I'm satisfied, hopefully the starter cartridge lasts for occasional use and I can find replacement for a good price.

I got tired of ink drying out so I wanted a laser printer. This was on sale and has everything I needed. Prints fast and wirelessly from anywhere in the house. Good quality prints. Scanner. The only downside is that you have to be connected to an external router like your home internet network (can connect wirelessly) and DOESN'T do Direct connect like the Epsons. Other than that it's a good printer.

I researched this printer a great deal and it happened to be on sale on the day I decided to purchase it. I purchased this printer to replace a costly ink hog canon mp830. I liked the reliability of the canon brand but wanted to move away from anything inkjet and already own a color laser jet for color. I needed the MF212 for the quick scanning a quick black and white printing.....I kinda wished I had purchased the MF216 for the document feeder function, but the MF212 is more simplistic with less moving parts to need replacing vs. the MF212. This thing is quick both with scanning and printing...I'm very happy with the value, quality, performance and price I paid.

Printer was easy to install and worked first time using wireless setup. Print quality is very good for black and white print jobs. This will save me costs of constantly having to replace ink jet cartridges on my color printer. I will only use inkjet now for color printing.

I was fed up with my old printer, a respected HP color inkjet all-in-one. Too many little problems and some big ones. Worst was that the paper feed mechanism needed constant cleaning or it failed -- a lot. And they don't have any customer support worth mentioning. I'll never get another HP anything again. When I saw this on Best Buy, I remembered that my son had gone to a monochrome laser printer and loves it. So I ordered it. I've had it a little over a month, and it is perfect for what I want. Things it does way better than my HP inkjet: *** Much shorter warmup time, and faster printing. *** Less worry about changing toner than previously changing ink. (I haven't had it long enough to know this for sure.) *** Marginally faster scanning. *** Much crisper text. *** Surprisingly crisp grayscale graphics. An important property for me was the ability to print readable maps from screenshots taken from Google maps. It does this like a champ! The color inkjet maps looked horrible, almost unreadable, unless all four color cartridges were in great shape. The grayscale maps from this printer do the job perfectly.

I'm a fan of Canon printers, owned several before. This one is easy to set up for wireless connectivity and is compact in size. The only thing I miss with this one is the duplex/auto two side printing.

It's fast, the quality of print works great for our office use. If I had to provide any critique, it would be that the printer is pretty noisy. It isn't an issue in the office, but at home, it may bother me. Not sure.... I'd buy it again for sure.
