This printer is a great value, but takes a very long time to print.

Two clips holding the scanner bed up were loose and fell into the toner bin. This is poorly designed. No problem returning the printer. Best Buy handled the issue well.

Everything I expected in a printer

Reasonable size, clean look, good controls, quality output & competitive price. Easy to set up, download drivers and run copy, print & scan with Ethernet connection first time out of the box. Had to get a little help from customer service for wireless router set up and customer service was the best I have ever experienced. Printer now works wireless with iMac & MacBook Pro with iPhone soon to come. Auto Energy saver uses under 2 watts and printer is always ready. I transitioned from a color inkjet all in one and this mono-laser all in one is much faster with short warm up and quick quiet performance without clogged jets. I researched 4 other manufacturers and I am pleased with my choice - I will never go back to inkjet. I have only had this printer for one week so durability is yet to be proven but I have high hopes.

Incredible value (at least at my price)

I got an astonishing sub-$100 year-end deal on this here at BB, which made it an incredible value. It's solid, fast, quiet and relatively easy to set up and use. We have a Canon ink jet elsewhere in the house so I don't need color. I was surprised to find out how much cheaper per page it is to print laser. Wish I'd done it sooner. Not sure my great price will be back soon, but at anything under $125 I'd say still a good buy.

Great wireless laser printer and support

First let me state this MF232w will work with wireless laptops and Iphones as well at the same time connected to another computer and configured for USB. I first connected via wireless and printed from a wireless laptop and my Iphone 6S plus. Then moved the printer to office a connected it to a desktop computer running windows 10 Pro and configured it for a USB connection. After doing that only the Iphone would not print wirelessly. Called Canon support, first off got a friendly and productive and knowledgeable gentleman, who walked me though the problem. All I needed to do was re-initialize the wireless from the Printers keyboard and then search for my wireless SSID or name and then enter in the password for the router one more time and then everything worked both wirelessly from mn Iphone and laptop as well as the USB connection to the desktop. Love the printer.

    Good but problematic

The printer is good overall but it goes "offline" a lot and then I can't print. I have it plugged in with an Ethernet and connected it to my wifi. Yet if I haven't printed for a day and I go to print it tells me it is offline and won't do anything. It is a huge pain in the butt to be in the other room trying to print from your laptop while working on something and print documents as you go but you have to stop what you are doing to get the printer online in the other room.
