This is the only printer of it's class I could find [to date] with drivers to run on OS11 Big Sur. Canon's site says 'OS 10.8 and higher'. How high is higher? But just below are the links to drivers for OS 11
Does more things than my old Brother but that means more menu options, touch screen etc and therefore more to learn.
Still figuring it out but so far it seems to do everything it is supposed to do and does it well

When my inkjet printer started clogging, I realized I really don't need color. If I do, I can use my wife's inkjet. This was one of the highest rated in Consumer Reports and was much cheaper than their top two. Very sharp printing of text. The basics are easy to set up. The advanced stuff is a little harder. The Canon manual is not organized well.

Easy to set up but entering initial info is clunky. Touch screen is a pleasure. All functions perform very well. WiFi or Apple Airprint both work fine. Overall very satisfied.

Love this printer. Easy to use. Haven't had any issues. I like the way the paper loads. One thing I particularly like is the hinge on the back - it expands so that when you are copying something thick, it rests on top.

SO far so good. Easy installation with fairly good scan utility software. Auto copy setting does a good job. Copy size enlarge and reduction have good selection of presets and 25-400% custom setting range. Copy and print speeds are faster than my inkjet printers and cost per page should be good although I haven't replaced toner yet. Control panel is bright and straightforward. Paper discharge doesn't extend much past the front of the printer so I have to reach in to get the copied or printed pages. Would have liked if the scanner had more dpi as the scan to pdf is acceptable but low. Only fair for photo scanning.

Excellent image CLASS 269dw wireless all in-one black and white laser printer. Had no problem in setting up all the functions after reviewing videos suggested by Canon. Very easy to use. The instructions provided by Canon in the package are not easy to understand. But videos are very helpful for setting up.Five star rating. Highly recommended.

Works as expected.
Good price.
The software is OK for Mac OS, but this is Very difficult to setup for MacOS. After searching chat rooms, I found a couple of fixes. The help section on the canon site is useless. If you have patience, this is the one to get. If not, look at other brands. I would give this 3.5 stars based on first week of ownership.

Overall very nice and easy to set up. I wasn’t able to get high resolution duplex scans, however, and the optical quality is not consistent on the flatbed scanner (scans get blurry on one side).

Good printer but wow what a pain to get settings correct. We still have to shut it off and on every time we want to scan. It changes the IP address. I'm sure it's a problem we are doing but we've worked through the help areas over and over again and are computer savvy but we still don't have it right

Fairly easy set up. Uses Wifi for wireless. Very easy to load driver with computer that uses Window 10, but if using a laptop that uses Windows 10-S, you have to download a Microsoft approved Canon app and then a (different) Canon driver.

Guide did not have good illustrations on various parts of the printer and has no instructions on how to replace the toner cartridge which is anticipated after potential use. Canon has video on its website for downloading and installing printer software but no video on setting up the printer. Watched amateur videos on YouTube for setting up. A CD comes with the printer but was not usable as my MacBook pro does not have a CD player. After installation of software following the Canon YouTube video instructions, printer connected to my MacBook pro and printed a test page successfully but wouldn’t connect to my iOS devices. Without any instructions in the guide or on YouTube for this, played around a little and printer stated bad internet signal at a location where previous different brand printer had no printer with the signal quality. Moved the printer to a different location and printer connected to my iOS devices. So was relieved but found out that printer was gets disconnected next morning. From that point on I had to reconnect the printer to my MacBook pro every time I tried to print something with only a few hours in between and could not print from iOS devices. Most frustrating part was calling Canon customer support. At the beginning of call, after getting your product type and number automated answer was thete was an one hour wait. After that music would be on and intermittent automated message that we will answer when your turn comes. I tried to call them on four different days with same results and then ended up hanging up waiting as long as an hour snd 30 minutes and that was it. Online search on Canon customers support page had no help for offline error for Apple computers. So finally returned the printer to Best Buy from where I had purchased. Best Buy has excellent customer service but not happy with Canon Support at all.

we’ve had problems with this printer since we bought it with paper jamming through the feeder and the printer however, called canon support today and they are sending a brand new unit with one day delivery and return the old unit in the box the new one comes to us in so I gave it 5 stars because of the support they offer and I have another canon printer that I’ve not once ever had any issues with so I’m going to be under the assumption this was a defective unit and the new one will work as expected. Canon support was amazing and it took all of 5 min. I’d buy another canon product just for that reason.

Copy delivery doesn't come out of the delivery tray far enough so you have a hard time getting the copies out of the tray. We use allot of forms with fine lines that don't print very well no matter how you adjust the settings. When making 2 sided copies the paper will mis- feed when going to print on the second side. No instructions on how to replace the toner or drum cartridges.

A bit tricky to set up as you need to update the software first from the Canon website. Once I connected it properly the scan feature works very well.
