My HP printer/copier/scanner finally conked out after 5 years so was looking to try something new. Never had a Canon before so decided to give it a try but have been extremely disappointed. While the machine works well, the toner cartridges simply do not last!! Every time I put a new toner cartridge in it'll tell me I'm down to 20% within a few weeks. My HP lasted months. And when it get's "too low" it'll say it won't allow me to use the fax anymore until I replace the cartridge even before it's empty. Really a rip off. I've spent a fortune on this thing already replacing the cartridges and am already looking to replace the unit only 6 months after purchasing it to cut my loses.
