It was time to upgrade my printer - while it worked fine (also a Canon which is a workhorse!), I was having issues with connecting my laptop via USB at times (Windows 10 will not recognize it for some reason). Hence I was looking for an alternative which will avoid having to connect a laptop altogether. When I looked for a printers which support USB (for scanning output and printing input), these were quite expensive (over $400). However, when I saw this deal at $220 - I thought it was a steal! This printer has EVERY feature that I need and more! It can scan (I do a lot of scanning - even more than printing actually) to a USB or send an email or wireless save to a laptop (the last 2 I have not been able to get to work as I have not spent time configuring these). I usually use the USB stick for scanning which works great for me (avoids having to move the laptop / connect). All in all - I love this.

My daughter and the whole family use this laser printer everyday for almost 2 years. We can not make complain at all. Love this laser printer very much.

I was needing to replace my fax machine and I have had my eye on this unit for a couple of years! It was on sale in January so I decided to go for it! I missed it last year when it was on sale! Anyway, I am sure glad I did! I particularly like the fact that I can scan documents to PDF file straight to my network share drive or email. There are lots of possibilities! Including, I-Fax that allows me to send high quality faxes over the internet - which I am really excited about trying out!

Great product with multiple operations. So fast to print and easy to print from any of the device. Canon is one of the best among the others.

I had to print out a bunch of stuff i bought it online and picked up in 1 hour great service. Easy to install wifi is preferred and used with my MacBook Pro

I wanted to get away from constantly drying up inkjet cartridges and the exorbitant cartridge price for my previous (HP). I was blown away with how smoothly the Canon setup went. HP's software and WiFi was a nightmare but the Canon just works! And not to be continuously harassed to pay for the ink as a service was the icing on top. Prints fast, does everything, it's great. I miss the color print option occasionally, but don't need it. And it is a little bit big for a home user, but I can live with that too.

I do not use this device for very complex purposes, but in my case, setup and connecting to my network took only minutes. and easily worked with PC and Apple computers. Happy to have double sided printing. Touch screen is a nice plus.

I've been using this printer for over year now, I normally use it for scanning. It's great and it does what it needs to do. I'm currently having issues with my printer, every time i scan a document, the second page has colors of rainbow, that's why I'm giving it 4 stars. I will reach out to canon, hopefully they will help me

I have purchased 5 of these printers over the years. Not exactly the same model as it changes over the years. For the money they are a very good printer. The one I have at home has lasted 7 years, but we have used up 2 at my office. They are very inexpensive so we don't put any time or money into repair, we just replace them. The scanning function has always worked well over the network as we share these with multiple computers. As the printers age they will have errors about parts reaching end of life, but they really just continue to print fine after acknowledgment of the error message.

Decent printer, does not go to sleep and stay there until I hit the power button like the HP printer it replaced Like the 2-sided scanner. With the NAPS2 app, can set up profiles for scanning from the flatbed, scanning from the feeder, 1-sided, and scanning from the feeder, 2-sided. Then you only need to select the profile for the type of scan you want. Reasonably fast printing and scanning for home use. Like the fact that it is black and white, so I don't have to replace color cartridges in order to print black & white.

This product is excellent it does all the functions I need and more. It looks good and the quality is great. It is very easy to use to print and fax. I have not tried the other functions yet.

I did a bit of research on a couple of products before purchasing this. I am happy to say that so far it appears to have worked out. Setup was easy and the printing is smooth and clean.

I have always wanted a laserjet printer. The experience could not have been better. Its quiet, its speedy and it scans in color. I chose black and white to save on the expense of replacing color cartridges. You can buy three inkjet color printers for the cost of replacing color laser toner cartridges.

I needed to replace an older Canon inkjet color printer. While I miss the option to print in color, I honestly don't need to print colors that often. I like the instant readiness of the printer whenever I need to print something, my old inkjet needed several minutes to warm up and calibrate which became annoying. The printing is very fast and sharp. And I really like the Canon smartphone app.

Using this in my home computer wireless network, based on Windows 10 desktops and laptops. It works seamlessly. Setup was straightforward. Not using fax capabilities at all, but the scanning, printing and copying functions are great. Good quality output

I really enjoy my new Canon printer. It does what it's designed to do very well. I choose the black and white laser printer which is fast and efficient. Quality of the printed text is excellent. Allow sufficient desk space as it has a larger profile. Easy to set up and a very intuitive printer.
