Great printer, works well and fast. Easy to setup. Only complaint, after a day or two at the small private school, the black toner ran out. Wish it had more in the initial toner.

Not bad for the price. A bit buggy sometimes connecting to the computer or phone, shows offline when it isn't from time to time. Quality is good, and setup was easy and fast.

This printer fits well where I wanted it, and does everything I've needed it to do including duplex printing, scanning from the bed and document tray, and full color printing.
I was tired of paying for an ink plan, and ink jet printers dry out way too quickly! My hope this is going to last for years with minimal care required.
One comment: it's loud! Not the loudest I've encountered, but certainly not quiet.

Ease of use unsurpassed, This is first Canon Printer I have owned. I have been HP consistently prior to this. This printer has proven itself to be superior in reliability and ease of use compared to ANY HP I have owned.

Worked great for about a month then started making a very loud noise. For smaller projects it works great but if you have to print more than 50 pages it seemed to have a bit of trouble keeping up with the printing hence the loud noise. When I did a smaller project i did not have the same noise issue. But perfect for small business which is what I needed!
Downfall - ink very expensive

Excellent, but Print Driver care needed

Excellent with one warning. You must download the Canon driver for this printer. It is easy to install this printer and end up with the Microsoft default driver -- which will work, but will prove problematic for printing multiple copies of something. Once you ensure you have the correct Canon print driver, your experience will be very good. This same warning holds for MacOS. MacOS will use a default driver that will work, but same issue. Without ensuring you have the Canon driver, printing will be painful for anything that is multiple pages or multiple copies.

Great Printer, but drains ink

Print quality is great, but it uses a ton of ink and the cartridges are super expensive. We are going through 3 times the amount of ink as our previous printer and the ink costs twice as much. Overall the printer is great, but I don't recommend it if you're doing large print jobs as the cost of ink is brutal.

This is a top notch printer, at a very reasonable price. Buy it! The printer display screen is easy to use and read. It double sides copies and print jobs. It is intuitively easy to use. I have never needed to look at the online manual. It has a long enough cord so I could put the printer in the corner of a very long desk, out of the way. I have never needed to use a USB cord to the computer for anything. The paper feed is good, and the printer does not jam paper. It can print from a jump drive. My grandkids and I like printing articles from our iPhones. I had a Geek Squad member deliver and carry it upstairs, and we have a lot of stairs, and then he set it up for me. He taught me how to use it. He was so much fun to talk to about anything. He took the big box and all the packing materials with him. I am a long time continuous Geek Squad member. I joined the Geek Squad many years ago, perhaps 10 years, just for my laptops, but now I am buying appliances from Best Buy and they are covered under the Geek Squad plan. I consider that a bonus! The Best Buy is fairly close to my home and well stocked with what we need for our house.

Decent printer. Toner is on the pricey side. Good for small businesses that do not print a lot of pages. It is a bit loud when in operation as well as it takes about 30-40 seconds to warn up and start a print job. Overall price doesn't match the quality of the huge machine.

The Canon imageCLASS MF654Cdw is a fantastic choice for anyone needing a reliable, high-quality laser printer. It delivers sharp, vibrant prints at an impressive 22 pages per minute and offers seamless wireless connectivity with options like Wi-Fi, AirPrint, and Google Cloud Print. The 5-inch color touchscreen is intuitive, making it easy to navigate features like duplex printing, scanning, and copying.
Its compact design, energy efficiency, and robust build make it perfect for home or small office use. While setup can be slightly tricky for some, the overall performance and value more than make up for it. Highly recommended for professional-grade results!

We were looking for a low-cost color laser printer. After checking all of the online ads in stores and all of the machines, we found Best Buy to have the best price on a highly rated machine. We had a few things we really needed and wanted a copier and a scanner and we wanted a sheet feeder for copying and scanning. The images on plain paper are terrific, and no more ruined copies of a drop of water hits the page.
