The toner is expensive and yes you can get aftermarket toners. I tried and found that it is best to use the Canon toner because the others do not print well with this printer. I have found that you can print for up to a year with the right toner cartridges even if the alert tells you to change it out. I print a lot so it was a great option to just ignore the low toner warning for a little bit.

Great all in one Color Laser

I am relatively capable with techincal stuff but this setup didn’t require any indeot knowledge about computers or printers to setup. I did use an printer cable from old printer for part of the setup. I connected a desktop nd a laptop. Prints double sided which is a nice added bonus i was unaware of when i purchaed.

It prints very fast and sharp images and lets you know when it's out of paper. The mini screen is very easy to program the printer's performance.

Was unable to setup the wireless feature to my laptop so I used a hard wire. Product scans, copies, prints and also prints addresses on envelopes. Plus the price before tax was $295.00. Only negative observation is the unit is very heavy for one person to unpack and lift onto a desk.

Wouldn't buy it

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Puts out a great copy BUT it is noisy and it doesn't recognize my finger touch. i have to breathe on my finger and touch the touch pad several times to get it to move to the thing I pick. It lights up but won't move to it. Can't figure out what one part goes to because the manual doesn't give you a picture or set up. It was a gift or I would have returned it.
