    this has been a excellent printer for us, it is wireless or hardwired using a cat 5/6 patch cable. its fast and very quiet compared to a ink jet. the packaging was great, just follow the instructions to open the carton. it comes with this extra piece of plastic that isn't very clear what to do with but its a dust shield for the paper tray when using legal paper.

    Purchased this printer as i needed one that did duplex two sided printing and uppon getting it home and printing a couple of things found it didnt do duplex 2 sided . So i returned it for the model that did what i needed.

    Great little printer and scanner at a fantastic price including four years of geek squad coverage!! I did have to convert from wifi to USB since I use a VPN, but a minor inconvenience. I had sworn off Canon printers since they didn't update their drivers back in the day, but decided to give it one more chance - I'm glad I did!

    So far so good. The printer is very quiet and fast. My only dislike is that when printing from my cellphone you have to physical wake the printer up by walking directly to it and pressing the home button. The printer is on the first level of my home and my room is on the second level of the home and well being 8 months prego this is annoying.
