Very happy with the product, others had talked about it going to sleep and having to go to the printer to wake it up - UNTRUE! The printer dies go to sleep but when I send a print job to the printer it wakes up and prints just fine.

Quality but errors with ink cartridge tank sensor

Only complaint is that it says ink cartridges are low when they really are not and you have to take them out, shake them, and put them back in to get the printer to work.

Good printer poor installation disk and downloads

The disk and my downloads did not work for the installation but the Geek Squad came through so I could hook it to our ethernet. Will need to call them again since the manual does not make it clear how to get several pages into one document using the Scan feature. Printing is excellent and clear, good color and fast.

Both myself and my daughter use it for business and personal use. It has all the features we needed. It is easy to use. It stays powered on 24/7. My last printer—an HP—had paper jam problems. This Canon is designed much better.

I was going to buy HP as I have always had good luck with their products. This had an excellent Black Friday sale. It was easy to set up...did get a little help from Best Buy help as I am not a computer geek. Good speed, great copies. Yes buy it!!

Its the quality I expect from Canon and the print quality is great - on photo paper the images look half decent but it is not a photo printer for your framed art. *you need a multi ink inkjet and all the hassle for that Would buy again - very happy

Colors are correct on heavy paper too! Luckily it was on sale because cartridge printers are a PITA (stop printing correctly) if you're not printing/using them regularly, which is why I was shopping for a new printer. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on a nice laser printer like this one and not deal with lines or streaks or incorrect colors of a cartridge-style printer anymore!
