    Good solid printer. Easy to unpack. Setting up software drivers was difficult in Win 11. Took a long time and a lot of Google searches to get it loaded up. Seeing a lot of warnings that you have to do it multiple times. Surprised that a printer that duplex prints cannot duplex scan. Disappointed that is not called out.

    Where do I start first issue is a known issue with paper jams. Bestbuy will put you in touch with Canon. After a few troubleshooting solutions fail they will send you a refurbished model. Unlike Bestbuy you won’t receive money back for an open box item. So the refurbished machine arrives and immediately have issues printing double sided copies. Im in the process of moving and don’t have time to deal with support again. Absolutely the worst printer I’ve ever purchased. When I get around to talking to support I will be asking for a refund. Ii was really excited when I purchased the printer boy was I wrong. Please don’t make the same mistake I did. No matter how low the price tag is avoid purchasing it. You can thank me later.

    Maybe it's that I use Windows 11 Pro. Whatever the prob, it doesn't want to communicate with either my 2020 HP360 laptop i7 16g RAM or my 2023 AMD 5900 RAM 24g. It loves to jam, worst on 5x7 envelopes, but even no 8.5x11 thin paper. I spent approx 30 on phone, then agreed to $39.95 escalated service. The latter [apparently very competent] tech apologized-after 60 min taking over my screen, he was unsuccessful. PS Canon won't win awards for software or manuals. PS2 I wanted to love this product, because for the $, it's feature-rich. After a couple weeks' of my effort, BestBuy accepted it back from me on Jan 3, 2024.
