Printer is fine - Setting up is hard, no manual

Setting up this machine is kind of hard. CD set up is provided, but I need to have a computer with a CD drive, which I do not have. No manual or direction included to set up and use the wifi function, scanning to a computer, or other needed setup. Very frustrated with the setup. Still not able to use all the functions available with the machine. No cable or USB provided to hook up to the computer; must buy separately since Wifi print is not able to set up.

Laser printer

Only problem was hooking up wifi, Best buy installer figured out it was because of our weak WIFi with Cox cable. We bought a new modem and returned the one we were renting from Cox and then Easy wifi hookup for printer. Only worry is how expensive ink will be. Hope we find some that are decent priced that work.

Not easy to set up

Definitely efficient for an office however you will need a tech to set up. Unlike HP where you can pull it out the box and be working in minutes you will spend hours watching videos and searching the web yourself. The GUI interface is definitely for a person that understands computers. If you are a Lay person then I would not recommend it. It definitely has all the functionality for any office needs such as scan to email, scan to laptops and more but it must be configured in a technical way. It’s imperative that drivers and utility software is loaded whereas most printers are typically plug and play. I chose the laser printer to reduce purchasing so much ink and thought the price was worth it but spend a few extra bucks for HP just for the ease of use. I sadly missed my return period.
