I wanted a laser jet and this multi function printer is great!

Works great, and has all the features that I needed.

It was very hard to connect to the wireless network, and still lost connection many times. Although I have a nother HP printer that is to set up and will not lose connection.

I bought this printer because I wanted to get a better quality printer. I have had it for about a month and it has quit working. It worked well until it started having problems and would go on and off.

Do not purchase if you need to scan anything. It tell you that it’s not setup properly annd doesn’t guide you on how to set it up. The manual is useless. Their website is useless. The portal into the printer through an webpage is useless. All they want you to do is print annd buy toner. I LIKED canon until now. They’ve lost my business. Also, you may not be able to print to it because it just doesn’t show up.

Great printer liked the feeder paper capacity and it prints double sided. Used it 5 times now broke. Cheep thermal switch or something refurn window sucks best buy should do better.

Only one week in and the feeder for scanner jams ALL OF THE TIME. Other than that, great.

The printer is working good so far. However I do a lot of scanning and i like them in a PDF format. So far I don't see how save them right out of the scanner. My old HP did save as scans as a PDF.

Prints fine, and quick. Constantly disconnects from network, tried it wireless and then tried wired still cant get it to keep a reliable connection. Never had such a useless printer before. The replacement toner is super expensive too. Do not buy this piece of junk.

I had the earlier model which i have used for several years. This model is almost the same, althought the cartridges are more expensive. It still suffers from not have a good and easy to use interface.

The first Canon printer was adjudged by a Geek Squad technician to be "defective" within a week of purchase, as it was unable to do simple scanning. So I got a replacement. What happened? Same thing, scanning is almost impossible. I am taking this one back too, and expect to simply get a refund. Clearly inferior product.

Set up was not very easy, getting a lot of muddy or dark images. I have to connect to the internet each time. Not as easy as I expected the printer to be

I’m really disappointed with this printer. I had high expectations, but the quality and functionality are very poor. I was hoping for something easy to use with good print and color quality, but unfortunately, it didn’t deliver. Definitely not worth the price.

DON'T BUY IT. It constantly goes offline - you have to unplug the power cord, unplug the USB -wait a few minutes and plug it all back in and turn it on and if you are lucky it will print once for you before it goes offline again (yes I replaced the USB cable in case that was the issue, yes tried wireless and wired LAN - all was the same) - its a nightmare. Worse printer decision I ever made.
