The printer is some good, but something is bad which is when I try to scanning the paper is stuck it doesn’t go through perfectly .

This printer is an expensive plastic headache! Forever in error mode. Will only print 1 page of a 4 page document. Cannot get the Scan to Computer or Scan to Email to work no matter how many YouTube videos and troubleshooting methods I do. Takes forever to print. Always have to turn it off and back on to reboot it.

Didnt even last a whole year before it just quit working. By quit working, i mean it would not even turn on. Just like short circuted itself. Returned and got an epsom. The printing quality wasnt there when it did work. Save yourself the time and go with a different product.

I bought this due to the favorable reviews. But I hate it. Every time I print, the printer asks me to verify the paper in the drawer. It is always letter paper, but it won't print until I go to the printer and double-verify the type of paper. It is so annoying. I would return it but I put my fist through it after it kept telling me to load paper in the tray which was already loaded. Total annoyance and ruins my day everytime I print.

The printer is a piece of junk and I highly recommend you look elsewhere. Every time you want to print something you have to physically go to the printer and select your paper size or it won't print. If you happen to be messing in the menus when it goes to print the next document in queue it won't prompt you to select the paper and you can't get back to it and have to cancel your print and start over. I will never buy a Canon printer again.

This is the loudest printer I have ever purchased.

Within a few weeks, this "printer" will force you to subscribe to toner replacement service or will not work properly even though there is still plenty of toner in it. It will show errors every time you try to print, stall printing, force you to change settings, etc. It also stalls with messages every time to open the paper tray. Buckle up and get ready to cancel print jobs, resend them, turn your computer and printer off and on, etc. Hard pass.

A big selling point was the AirPrint functionality, which allows printing from any Apple device. It turns out that was incredibly buggy, working only when I physically went over to the printer and woke it up. A Google search reveals this has been a problem with Canon printers for years, and is still unresolved.

unused still waitinf for pickup, I stop delivery order, but you deliver anyway. now I need you to pick it up. Still waiting for pick up, I requested this is not the right printer. I need a fax printer. I would like to return for canon fax printer

First day of printing got a drum error. Was lucky that Best Buy was local and I exchanged it same day.

Worked great for a few months and now barely functions. We spend most of our time fighting with this thing and turning every device trying to print to it on and off, and power cycling the printer itself to see if it will right itself. The error messages it does occasionally provide are opaque, but mostly it just refuses to print jobs sent to it and frequently acts like none were sent at all.

This thing sucks. No PC app to run it. settings or changes done on the 5'x5' touchscreen. Constantly screw up the paper tray, you have to clear the error on the screen for each print job. No Canon 800 number without signing up on their website. Best Buy screws you for trying to make your product work by only giving you 2-weeks to return. Are you surprised they closed 100 stores in the last 5 year 20-30 will close this year. Thanks!

doesnt always connect to internet. directions could use more clarity

Very poor. Got it all set up and it would not print the BLACK INK (TONER). All the other colors printed fine. Spent 3-1/2 hours on the phone trying to remedy to problem, but all they want to do was SELL ME A $99 SERVICE FEE. THE PRINTER WAS BRAND NEW-------WHY WOULD I PAY TO HAVE IT REPAIRED?????? Packed it up and returned it to the store as one UNHAPPY CUSTOMER, NEVER TO BUT AT BEST BUY AGAIN. I'll go shop at Office Max Next Time.

Not as described. Said it had fax capability an it doesn't. dont' know why a $400 machine doesnt have fax when a $70 one does

Wasted 2 hours trying to make it happen. IT pro for 27 years and this unit was DOA LOADED WITH ERRORS. No wifi discovery, when usb cable connected, worked 3 times then error mode disconnect from print job. Need to rethink Canon after 20 years and discover another brand. Returned this after wasting an afternoon of my time.

Install challenging had to call Geeks..scanner still not working

We have had this for less then a year and we are already having issues with it leaving black lines all over the paper. Per our research it shows that we are already needing a new part for the device.

Very slow printing for a laser printer. Often it goes to sleep and won't wake up for wifi printing from my phone or laptop.
