good solid support. Thank you. We found a problem with the printer connection with the macbook air but was able to solve the problem in a very short time.

I would consider this printer to be a good fit for business use. Really straightforward interface that allows users to perform any kind of tasks with devices in the same network. I wouldn’t say the printing quality is super good, but it is very sufficient for daily use.

I have the printer set up in its's location but I have not downloaded the software. I know it will be great just because of the reviews online. I bought it for a specific need but have not needed it as of yet.

This has made my home office official. Does everything we need it to. The instructions and download CD are out dated, but once installed from online, it wasn’t too difficult to set up.

For the most part, it prints fine UNLESS you are trying to do it from a phone, tablet, etc. Then it's completely useless. Search for an 853 error on the internet and see how common the problem is. NONE of Cannon's fixes fix it. NONE. For folks that fixed it....it comes back, and needs a different fix. I hate this printer and am going to "office space" it once it runs out of toner.

Bought this for a home office, I create planners and print them out... And I make them into PDFs. I bought this before a move, so I waited, set it up, worked through all the troubleshooting of setting it up on a network, and only to find that Canon has a problem printing PDFs. Not just this printer, but the whole brand. I have gone through every website, every troubleshooting line, and have learned that it will only print from Adobe Reader, and only if it's a few small pages. I am struggling to print 16 pages of medical information that I need to take to my doctor. There's not enough memory in the HOME OFFICE printer to print 16 pages. It's a $300 piece of junk I can't return.

This was purchased for office use, it has given no issues and was a great choice. All of the functions it has has definitely been amazing

Does the basic tasks well, control panel is not intuitive, scanning is complicated. Could have been better in terms of ease of use.

Good text print quality but pictures aren’t as sharp as I would expect. Scanning is acceptable for pictures and text. But the ton-or is depleted with every ream of paper printed and the replacement toner is more expensive than the machine

This was purchased for a combination of printing envelopes and documents in moderately large amounts. The printer allegedly has the capability of doing this but in reality, it can't. You absolutely cannot print more than a single envelope without physically returning to the printer and pressing a button for every envelope. Settings cannot be changed in the printer, they do not respond. The only way to change this is by changing settings on the computer in the printer drivers. If you are able to navigate through this, you can have envelopes print uninterrupted, however, you will never be able to print a normal document again without going back and changing multiple setting every time that you have to print. Canon "Service" does NOTHING at all to help. There are no instructions included with the printer or online that help or explain any of this. You either figure it out through trial and error or you scour through some of the online forums for help from other users. I have to keep it due to the large amount of envelopes that I print but I now have to have a second printer to print documents. Crazy...

I have a mac. I downloaded the drivers and software. I have a brother printer too. I have both printers plugged into my USB computer ports. I have no issues with my brother printer. For the cannon printer, I just receive "Printing-Connected to printer." The cannon printer doesn't print with the printer cable. It printed twice with the printer cable, but now it just states "Printing-Connected to printer." No issues with my brother printer, but the cannon printer doesn't print with the printer cable. If you plan to print using a printer cable, get a brother printer
