Definitely Not for Apple Users
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.AirPrint -- one of the main reasons I bought this machine -- is as flaky as the day is long. A quick Google will tell you my experience is hardly isolated. Back it went.

Extremely Pleased
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first experience with a laser printer, color or otherwise, so I was not sure what to expect. However, I have been very pleasantly surprised. I purchased this because the copy machine that we owned needed to be replaced so I decided to look at color laser printers. From what I read about comparing color lasers to inkjets it seemed clear that the lasers had many advantages with printing B&W but that inkjet printers were still preferable when it came to quality color. However, I found that not to be the case. In fact, a comparison of prints of photos of postage stamps showed a very noticeable higher quality in the results from this printer when compared to the results from my HP Officejet Pro 8210 inkjet. The prints from the laser showed much better contrasts which resulted in much greater detail. So the Canon laser printer will be my default printer except when printer items that the Canon cannot handle, such as printing on photo paper or cardstock. Set up was easy, although I connected via an ethernet cable so I cannot speak to setting up the wireless connection. The only thing that we have done with the printer so far is to print from the computer and make single copies. We were able to make the copies without even reading the directions. It has a very simple and intuitive touch screen interface. I will try scanning next but since I assume that copying is essentially the same as scanning I do not expect any problems with that. Since I just set this up I cannot speak to the life of the cartridges so I do not have any idea of the relative cost of printing other than what I have read which seems to give the advantage to the lasers. Which should even prove to be a greater advantage in light of HP’s recent significant increase in the cost of their instant ink program. So far, this printer exceeds all of my expectations.

Canon, something good to have.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Canon Imageclass MF656cdw Bluetooth connection worked very well with my Apple MacBook Pro and my dated Sony Vaio, due to shelf storage of the product the toner cartridges need to be shaken to mix the colors for more vibrant output, a bit heavy and the paper tray could use some strength, a bit too plastic, useful home and business printer.

Canon color laser printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy setup and connection to wi-fi. Fast printing and copying. Document quality is excellent. I previously had a canon ink jet printer that after 10 years would no longer provide the quality required for our needs. We all love this new canon laser color printer.

Canon MF656 printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has been a great printer so far. It was the lowest priced color laserjet printer with a document feeder I could find of reputable quality. Network setup was easy and I've been able to use my phone, laptop, and tablet to print. My old canon MG3200 was having problems after maybe close to 10 years. A+ product in my book.
