Had a Canon ink-jet that fried on me and decided I wanted to upgrade to laser. Took about a week researching the various machines and looking for sales. I ultimately decided the Canon MF743C was a top quality machine in my budget range and it was on sale, too. Laser cartridges are more expensive, but I decided I wanted the quality. Very pleased with my purchase and recommend this model to anyone out there looking for a new laser printer.

We use this in a small business setting as our primary printer/scanner/copier and it functions well in all capacities. One complaint is the limited 250 page storage ... we find ourselves adding paper more often that we'd like ... hence the 4 stars vs 5.

This was a big upgrade in our in-home printing. Until this printer we bought cheap alternatives that would work for 6-12 months. We are 2 months into using this printer and couldn't be happier. Connectivity to our devices is reliable, printing is quick, quality is good. Would recommend to anyone who wants to upgrade their at home printer and stop buying new cheap printers yearly.

Print & Scan quality excellent. Software configuration on Windows 10 was challenging, but finally got it to work correctly. Took several tries for computer to recognize correct configuration. So much for Plug & Play. Overall, great unit.

Bought this printer for my wife who needed to print out worksheets for her students. The printer is a great balance between cost, functionality, and performance. The printer does all the things you need to do by printing, scanning, and copying. The speed of the printer is impressive especially when compared to an inkjet. The cartridges have very good life capacity, black cartridge lasted after over 2,000 pages printed.

Works great. Pretty fast. Easy set up. I would recommend this printer to anyone looking for one.

Great printer. Vibrant clear prints. Toner is a bit expensive but since it uses a fuser, it should last quite a while since it won't dry up like ink jet printers. Configuring the device was a little challenging which required a phone call to tech support. Canon tech support was extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with which is why I have it 5 stars.

Works well for home office use. I don't plan to use the fax feature yet but print/scan quality and speed is good. The ECO mode makes the prints unreadable & the menu system isn't the best, but that isn't terribly important.

I bought one for at home and then was so amazed bought one for work. Then came the issues. My one at home is fine. Except that it makes constant squeaking sounds every time it prints. But the one at work, I wish I'd never suggested it. The high capacity cartridges literally cost nearly twice what the printer costs. So we replaced them with non OEM cartridges. After all we bought it because we print all of the time. Not a great idea. We're on the third dealer, and non of them work longer than a month or two before breaking. One of them just spilled all over the table. Lucky it's just toner. The laser printer has one advantage. You can leave it set forever and not worry about the ink going bad. But that cost per page is still there with these newer printers.

No complaints. Canon makes great products. Replaced my HP and this is superior.

Although the cartridges are a little expensive to buy from Canon, this printer is the perfect mix for small businesses who want to balance quality and cost. It prints great color output. I have no regret moment using this printer. The wireless connection is perfect and does not disconnect.

This is an extremely heavy piece of equipment. It took me awhile to learn to use it correctly, and I am still learning, but once you get the hang of it, it's not bad. I had to readjust the color gradation as it was printing too light. But I am pleased with it overall.
