office project
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not very happy with this purchase and with the sales help. Then got another sales person. What a difference the person took the time and patience to answer all of my questions on this product. Then go to buy, none were in stock ,so he then took the time to find this item located in another area .

Great all-in-one.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a printer that used toner but that was also capable of color which was not easy to find. I originally tried another brand and the envelope printing was horrific. I took it back and decided to try the Canon & then boom I found this. Saved the day! Love it!

High quality prints, toner lasts a very long time
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good mid-price, good-quality color laser printer. Touch screen is a bit fussy at times, but does what I want it to do.

Good printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Canon - imageCLASS MF743Cdw Wireless Color All-In-One Laser Printer - Good printer very heavy and ink cartridges are pretty pricey. I Still own it if you works great if you can afford it purchase warranty.

Works well with all my documents
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I honestly can't comment on all of the features that are available with this printer because I have only used it for basic printing.

Not worth the $
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed an all-in-one printer/scanner/copier. I got this because of it's scanning/DPI capabilities to multiple emails with ease. Unfortunately, it stops printing when it gets low on black ink and won't allow you to print with just using color. The price of having to buy ALL ink cartridges is the same price as a new machine! On top of that, I've had it for less than a month and about 1-2xs a week it would power itself off (even in the middle of a print job) and I would have to power cycle it just to get it to finish. Although the Manager at the store was FANTASTIC with me on dealing with the return of the machine, I don't think I'll buy a "home use" machine like this again. I needed a commercial machine for my "in home business."

Challenge
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to call cannon, for help with getting it to work and add software. 1. Phone went to fax 2.scan was a challenge 3. Wouldn’t take paper from bottom tray. Took 4 hrs with cannon support to fix.

Big and powerful

Best printer I have purchased in years
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased after much research. Had purchased 2 Brother MFC’s that worked great for a short time then started streaking - Brother help was not poor. I wish I had purchased this MFC years prior.

No Scan, No Service to Chromebook, No Support
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have four laptops in my family. This printer will print from two. It doesn't work with a 6 month old $400 HP Chromebook. It also doesn't scan to the computer easily. The USB port is worthless. The manual is over 700 pages, available only online and has no FAQs or troubleshooting on the scan function/ dysfunction. I have emailed Canon multiple times and gotten no reply. A very heavy and large halfway decent printer and worthless for other tasks. I would compare it to the Epson Workforce that I had for 18 months and decided to quit and needed service that could only be found over 200 miles away. I live in a metro area of over 1 million. Perhaps another brand would work better, or maybe expecting in 2020 that a printer could print and scan without issues for awhile is too much to ask.

So far, so good
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like going back to a color laser. Just retired my wax ink cube Xerox that was incredible, but slow and old. This one is very quick, configurable, and doesn't weigh a ton. The only downside to a color laser is you can't print on photo paper.

Great Copier
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Used for small business application. Great function and fits all copying, faxing and scanning needs.I love the two sided copy feature with a press of the button. This is a larger sized machine so you will need the space for it.

Calculate the Cost First
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is our second ImageClass Laser all-in-one. We upgraded to this 'newer' version in 12/2020 because the previous model wasn't compatible with Apple air print. The 743Cdw met that need. We had it for 4 years before replacing, gave it to a friend and they are still using it 4 years later. Not too shabby... We bought this newer version, and we're not doing great with it. Here's what I'll say: PROS: Crisp print Easy to use Print capability Scan capability CONS: Expensive toner replacement ITB has failed one year out of warranty Both of these cons are HUGE for consideration and I'll tell you why. The printer itself cost $400+ and comes with starter cartridges. To replace all four of those cartridges costs just as much as a new printer. They don't last long. We tried generic and failed on multiple occasions with different manufacturers. They made a mess of the machine and they ran out quickly so we spent just as much to replace generic cartridges twice instead of buying authentic. Just buy Canon brand and save yourself the frustration and money, trust me. The second reason is the ITB (a part within the machine) costs $350+ too. So now we have $300+ in cartridges that will last longer than the printer because we'll need to buy a new printer. At this point, why buy the part for as much as the printer costs to replace?? END OF THE DAY: The printer is awesome, but the cost of maintenance is ridiculous. Is this a business expense and you have money to waste once a year on cartridges? Maybe this is for you. We use it for home use, not a huge load on the machine. Maybe a dozen or two pages a week? I think we may be finding another company to purchase but for now we're riding out this one until it dies completely.

Not easy to set up, not a plug in & go
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Thanks to COVID, I began working from home & wanted a printer that could keep up with my at office pace. I’m not sure this is it though. Just setting up the scanning capabilities took me & my IT dept nearly 3 weeks to figure out. I just wanted a great quality printer so that I could work as if I was in the office & it’s really not user friendly.
