Worst setup I've seen for a printer

Incredibly vague manual had to do a lot of internet research just to get it to function. Setup should be way easier for what we paid for it. Had to manually download drivers and a separate app just for scanning. Utility program doesn't open. Took us forever to convince it that it was loaded with paper. Randomly disconncts itself from the network have to constantly reconnect it manually. The biggest deterrent from returning it is the fact it is so heavy I might throw my back out getting it in the car.

It does print well. However it does not scan well at all. If you are scanning a multiple page document you must restart it multiple times in order to get it to go through. You usually wind up with jams and torn pages because this is a piece of garbage for a scanner

I have to uninstall the printer on my laptop and then re-install it to get it back working. It is also painfully slow to start printing. It feels like I'm using a printer from 10 years ago...

Worst Canon Purchase Ever

If your looking for a printer that will print decent prints - DON'T BUY THIS ONE. I called Canon support numerous time. Wait time was always more then 40 minutes. Never did speak with a support Tech.

$1000 mistake ($400 printer, $600 cartridges)

We have several printers on our network and this is the only one that does this. Get ready to spend $600 for a set of toner cartridges as the starter set doesn't last very long at all.
