This printer is great with wireless printing, scanning, and faxing. It has helped make things easier to use. I like that is conserves energy and goes to sleep mode when not in use.

Good quality Canon product. Set up is a bit clunky but I got it set to do what I need. Cartridges are a bit expensive and can be finicky regarding sensors tracking replacement of ink. I do like this unit but it’s not without its quirks. Sometimes they outsmart themselves when simple would be better.

So I purchased this printer after reading the reviews and here's what I've discovered regarding this particular printer. First off, as far as the hardware itself goes, the unit is well built and I couldn't be happier with it. Moving onto the software things become less positive. Without going into lots of details suffice to say you need to have knowledge of networking topologies in order to set this printer up to work frustration free. I have this printer on a combination wired/wireless network with multiple devices accessing it (Ipads, Iphones, Laptops and hard wired desktop units) and experienced some initial frustrations with configuring the software/printer settings. As an example I installed the printer software on a laptop and a desktop Pc both running the same version of Windows 10. When I go to print a word document from the laptop I have no problem but if I tried to print the same document from the desktop Pc it would cause the printer to emit an audible alert to which I had to go to the printers inbuilt touchscreen and select the proper paper tray...weird! Again all in all I'm happy with the quality of the printer just be aware that depending on your home setup you might experience some quirks in getting this printer to operate frustration free.

Because of covid related schooling I’ve had to increase the frequency that I brought inkjet cartridges. That led me to buying a small home office laser jet. I read a lot of reviews about setup and connect to a home WiFi, but I didn’t have any issues. Total setup time, unboxing to adding printer to network to installing software on tablet, was 30 minutes. My wife’s HP had a issue installing the files, but I downloaded the drivers using chrome and the issue was fixed. The only reason I downloaded the drivers was to have additional scan features on the computer. I was able to easily set up scan to email features and add frequently used email addresses to my contacts. Adding the printer was a breeze. My only complaint is that it ways 60 lbs.

This printer replaced a much loved Brother color laser multi. It has exceeded expectations with speed and quality plus it is easy to setup and use. It has great features like duplex scan and ID printing. It is highly recommended.

Has all the software to make printing, scanning and faxing easy and convenient. Easy to use menu and wireless printing from phone and tablet is easy to set up and use.

Opening the box and getting the first print was less than 10 minutes. At the sale price, this is a great deal! Print and scan quality is superb! I have not setup Fax yet to I wouldn't know on that. Setting up the scan and send document via email can be tricky, however, it is not the printer but the email provider. During the set up process, you will need to save your email credentials on the printer admin console and when the device tries to send the document, it was blocked by email provider. Remember, setting up the printer in SYSTEM MANAGER MODE will let you manage the device properly. Cons: The toners are pricey compare to previous models, hope to see the price go down eventually.

Easy setup. Worked well out of the box. Simple user interface. Reliable printing so far. We will see how it goes over the long haul.

I have had at least 10 printers over the years, and have always had an issue with either poor black printing, or ink mishaps. From using refillable cartridges to brand name replacements, the ink was always the issue. Moving to this laser printer was the best move I could have taken. After 300 sheets, we now have 90% left in the consumables. Granted it was the kids making playing cards for 100 sheets, but still a lot of pages. I am sure it would have put a large dent in an inkjet cartridge. The duplex printing, duplex scanning, and simple sheet feeder is amazing. Huge time savers on all of them. We could not be any happier with this printer so far. Buy it. Right now at my local Best Buy it is over 200 off. Such a good deal.

Game changer! After spending lots of money on ink printers and cartridges we finally upgraded to a laser printer. We can print beautiful pictures, graphics, business docs and papers on it. Kids can turn in school papers without it looking messy. Definitely worth the investment and the laser cartridges seem to last quite awhile. The only cons would be set up of some of the features. Touch screen is also sensitive. We’ve had it over 2 years and it’s still going strong. Definitely recommend purchasing this printer.

I purchased this printer in a pinch when I became an independent consultant. It was during the pandemic and copiers/printers were selling out quickly. I have always had good luck with Canon products in the past and felt comfortable with the quick decision. This Canon printer was the only one available in the store! I was very satisfied with the quality of the images generated from this machine. I would say this printer is an excellent choice for a small business startup needing a professional finish on business documents. I would consider this printer a workhorse and look forward to many years of service. I will update in 6 months to advise of any issues or concerns that I may experience with the product.

Very good printer so far. Quality of copies is excellent and it's fast. It is a little noisier than expected and this printer is HUGE. I wish it had better installation instructions for a Mac.

I bought this recently for my home office. I'm pretty happy with two-sided printing and scanning (both automatic) as well as print quality. I don't print photos, it's mainly office use so keep that in mind.

Nice laser printer and great Black Friday price. Set-up was fast and easy

I bought this printer to replace a Canon MF8280Cw that was a work horse until my youngest son accidentally warped the toner cartridge door, trying to find where his print out may have been. I am primarily a Mac at home (though I do have at least 3 other Windows users in the house), and this multi-function device is much easier to use with my Mac than the previous device I've had, including the MF8280Cw. The scanner works without issue and is easy to engage and use. Print outs are clear and bright. The device wants to print duplex (both sides of a sheet of paper), so you need to be aware to insure it stays set (if you wish to save paper) or if you just want one printed page per sheet.

The printer is fast, quite, and big. It's a business class printer in size and quality, but surprisingly quite. Have printed a few online cookbooks and couldn't be happier. Lots of ways to print from.

Printer was very to setup and operate. Print quality is top notch and fast even when doing color prints. Scan's were fast and of high quality. Definitely recommend this printer.

Once we receive the printer it was very easy to set up and connect to our devices works great and would recommend it to anyone who’s in need of a higher level print scan fax type device

Versatile printer - supports normal computer based printing and printing from remote devices. Set up is simple and print is crisp and quick. Can’t beat it for the price
