This printer has it all. It is all that one needs for home or office. Print, Scan, Copy, Fax, wireless. It is super easy to set up, it does it all by itself and the CD that comes with it does not load up your computer with JunkWare. I have had color HP laserjets, Lexmarks, and Dells. This is a super value at $99.00. The cartridges are cheap and seem to last a long time, also super easy to change for my wife.

It is a great printer IF YOU CAN get the software installed, requires admin rights, can't get it installed on husbands machine yet.. The software install is insanely complicated and has so many steps, if you can get past that they printer is probably the best I've ever had. We own three if that tells you anything.

I have everything in this printer! The canon is adept at printing high quality text documents with respectable print speeds. With the help of its 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi print server, it can also connect to the cloud to print directly from mobile devices and Google Chrome Web browsers.

This printer is awesome. I originally had an HP but it kept loosing connection with my computer. After searching and searching we ended up in best buy trying to figure out which printer would be best for us.The sales man suggested this printer. Im so glad I listened, IT IS GREAT. If you need a printer that is quick, quiet, and prints great black and white as well as color photos this is it. I have printed well over 800 copies and my black ink just said it was low. I have used it to print three text books and it handled the job with ease. I could go on and on about this printer, but the bottom line is that if you get this printer you will not be disappointed. Also, it is very easy to install.

I did not intend to buy this printer but there was a Canon rep at the store being pretty pushy about it. It was on sale with another online discount so I think I walked out at about $70-80 for this retail $200 unit. So, the pressure and the price point eventually got me out the door but I honestly thought I may return it if I wasn't wow'ed by it b/c it had a bigger footprint than I wanted for my home office. Well, I was wow'ed by it. It is a bit big but when it's not in use, the drawers and "flaps" all slide in and minimize the size. But, it's much sturdier than the smaller models I intended to buy. Which, if you're copying or scanning and lifting the lid repeatedly, I think it'll be great in the long run.
The user interface of the touchscreen is very good and I haven't had any issues with setup or connectivity. I can easily print wirelessly from my phone and laptops as well as USB drive. It prints fast, but more importantly, it comes to life quickly (i.e. when it's been idle for a day or two I don't have to listen to a 20 minute warm up period before it starts to work).
Additionally, the canon rep told me that it has a cheap price per page on ink and it comes with a large amount of ink (possibly full cartridges) vs the starter cartridges you get with other companies. Well, i've looked into the cost of cartridges and it appears to be true (much cheaper than HP and Epson). Also, I am about 100 pages in on the starter ink and still not close to needing replacements so the rep seems to be truthful about full starter cartridges. When you do need replacements, the colors are separate so that you don't have to replace a combo unit just b/c you ran out of cyan.
The rep did tell me that it could duplex scan, which I have not found to be an option. I didn't think any of the units in this price range could, but I was disappointed to confirm this. It does, however, print in duplex.
I would pay much more than I did to get this unit again.

Thanks to the help of a Canon in-store representative, I finally figured out that since I never print pictures at home, a home-office class printer was better for me and my family. The Canon representative explained that most of the "standard" machines are designed to print pictures. As such, they are ink-hogs. The home office equipment is designed for low cost per page printed. My three daughters print school reports and projects somewhat frequently. The MB2320 is great on ink, is really fast, and really quiet. The text and graphics are very high quality. Spend the extra money and live with the larger size. It's well worth it in terms of quality and performance.

Great printer, quality of the prints is fantastic. I use the scanner function most often and it's outstanding too. Quick, quiet and easy to use. The software that runs it is intuitive and simple. Installation was easy except that the supplied drivers were out of date. They updated automatically but that took a little extra time. Highly recommend this product.

I have to say that I have been quite pleased with the performance and easy setup of this printer. I have for the most part been partial with HP and pretty much took the bugs, such as intermittent connections, less than desirable quality of printing, etc as normal operating procedure.
This Canon printer has worked flawlessly, as reinforced by the fact that my honey is not complaining about not being able to connect, or the printer is out of ink after a short period after installing new cartridges.
Just the other day, While she was cutting out pictures of cartoon characters, i asked where she got them and she told me that they were going to be used to decorate a large plastic easter egg for our granddaughter and were printed on the new printer, and the quality was very good.
One more thing, after more than a month, we are still on the starter cartridges and last look 20 minutes ago after printing a document, it shows about 3/4 full.
Very impressed.

I read independent and Consumer Reports reviews before buying this printer and they were spot-on. The print quality and speed are good for the price of this machine. Haven't had it long enough to judge the ink cartridges' lives, but I am thrilled that they are separate colors - no more throwing out cartridges that still have a lot of one color left in them. I love the touch screen for status and commands although it is not always intuitive. I hate reading manuals (online, especially) and just want to use a product right out of the box without much fuss. This IS a pretty big printer and the only thing that annoys me is that the paper trays stick out (and are not completely covered). I realize that the unit would be a lot bigger if it were designed otherwise, but I could live with that. My house can get dusty, what with a cat and dog, never mind just old house dust issues and I'd rather have my paper supplies under cover. It was not clear in the product description that this was the set-up, but I may have bought it anyway. Overall, I am happy with it and with Best Buy's quick ordering and pick up at the store option, since I didn't want to risk shipping it.

Three hours before leaving town for a couple of weeks, my old HP printer bit the dust. Of course I had several things to print. I ran to Best Buy. When I learned that there were no HP printers that used my current cartridges I decided to look at all of them. When I looked at the Canon Maxify, saw its features, and then saw that it was $99, it was an easy choice. Set up was easy. The huge paper cassettes and the speed with which I can wirelessly print has made me a happy customer. Jennifer at the local Best Buy store was extremely helpful.

Easy setup right out of the box for everything wireless in the house. We needed a printer at a fair price that took ink was also reasonably priced. We've had way too many HP printers in the past that were not only much more complicated to set up, but wouldn't keep consistant connection. We have one now that I paid two times the price of this Canon that is "still searching for a wireless network" as we speak. :( In addition the HP print quality was just average and replacement ink was often and costly.
So far we are in love and still on the starter cartridge! Print quality is SO much better that we didn't realize the details we were missing. I'm printing while away and its actually home when I get there. We figured Canon's standard ink cartridge at 23% per page of what we were paying (approx 2.5 cents per copy instead of 9 cents) and the XL cartridge which will yeild 1200 copies at 14% max cost of what we were spending on HP ink. How this all breaks down budget wise (for us) is black ink will now cost $64/yr instead of $324 that's 13 more tanks of gas, repainting a couple of rooms, or just savings instead of feeding our printer ink every 6 weeks. I would definitely recommend this printer to everyone expecially busy families and small business owners.

I was hesitant to switch from my Lexmark X2600 which had served me so well for so many years. However, with computers in different rooms, I felt I needed a printer which could work wireless. I am extremely happy with this purchase. The ink seems to be consumed efficiently, the wireless connection allows printing from other devices in the house. it was easy to setup and easy to operate. The two paper trays means that I am not always interrupting printing to add paper. The paper lies flat versus upright (where it bends forward). The scanning works very well. I have not yet used the copier or fax functions, but expect them to operate well, also.

This is a very solid (if large) machine, that does everything you would need of a home office machine (and more). It is great to have a duplex machine to save paper and the ink is some of the cheapest I saw. It works very well and the wireless set-up means I don't have to go through my office PC (and have it on) to print through our network. Very pleased overall and the Best Buy associate who helped with the purchase knew his stuff!

The color on the print jobs is closer to the original colors on the source document than any printer I have ever had. On color prints it's a little slower printing than I would like but it makes up for that when you see the finished product. Great features and easy use ability. I would definitely recommend to others.
