Due to the high cost of paper and ink I try to limit my printing. This works for me.

Got a cheap canon printer ($29) 3 years ago with mild expectations for it, but the printer and ink have been great with lots of use. I use it more often than my high end Epson printer

Excellent Printer Cartridge For The Money

The B&W on the print outs is excellent and it uses about normal amount of. I've been experiencing normal usage of B&W ink when I print B&W print outs. The cost has been remaining consistent at around $18 for the last few years. I will keep purchasing these B&W cartridges until something makes me want to change.

Canon - PG-245 Standard Capacity Ink Cartridge -

The only problem is that I feel it does not yield the number of printed pages promised especially considering that I usually print in draft mode.

As far as the ink, it last long for me and I print at least 6 days a week. The ink looks great. It's ink.
