  • Print approximately 180 pages on a single black and color ink cartridge. Both cartridges must be installed in the printer and must have ink in them. Annual - Presentation - Statistics - 93% - 61% - 75% - 84% - Page yield may vary depending on texts/photos printed, applications software used, print mode, combination of the ink tank/ink cartridge size and type of paper used. When you use the Canon printer for the first time right after you install the provided ink tanks, the Canon printer consumes ink in the amount to enable printing by filling the nozzles of the Print Head with ink. For this reason, the number of sheets that can be printed with the first ink tanks is fewer than the total page yield.

    I purchased at the same time I purchased the printer. The ink kind was easy to find out, as it was suggested as an item to purchase. I feel buying a 2 pack is the better way to go. I think I definitely saved some money this way.
