    I had problem getting new ACER computer & new Canon printer to work together properly. With help from Michael at Canon Customer Support It finally worked, but we used up all color ink. So, I purchased new ink cartridges, & everything works fine.

    These cartridges, though expensive -- more than the cost of the printer, profess to have a high yield, and the ink and printer make fine photos on glossy paper.

    One can't go wrong buying the brand for your printing needs rather than a copy. I've tried non-Canon inks - some were good but most didn't work in my printer even though they said that they would. I would stick with the brand if you value your money.
