The G6020 Canon Printer was straight forward to set up. Air printing was successful. Print quality was satisfactory. So far, I’m very happy with this purchase.
The printer would time out and turn off on its own, which was unexpected. This setting can be reconfigured in the Settings menu.
The Best Buy salesperson was knowledgeable, patient and very pleasant.

This is an amazing printer and super efficient on ink. I’ve owned it since April 2020. It’s now September 2024 and since that time I have only used 1 bottle of each color and 2.5 bottles of black. I’m still on my original ink that came with the printer. This printer comes with 3 black and 1 of each color in the box. I paid $250 back then and now’s it’s at $199. I would recommend this printer to anyone since it’s a solid printer with zero issues.

I had an older Canon megatank scanner/printer that worked great for quite a few years but was giving me some problems that I couldn't get to clear up, so I got this one to replace it and upgrade to a newer model. So far so good. Easy setup, works great and printing so far has been great. I really like the megatanks for ink as SO much cheaper than cartridges and the ink lasts a very long time. I also like how this one has the paper feed underneath along with the top back. Holds lots of paper in the feed so not having to fill often. I think for glossy or other sized paper you need to use the top back though. I have only did one small glossy picture to give it a try and see how it prints glossy color and it came out nice. Otherwise my black and black/color regular paper print text has been good. Black is nice and dark and everything is clear. Scanner works great too. I haven't tried to print front and back of pages yet, but this is supposed to do it without having to put the page back in for the back side, hopefully that works good and is easy to do. Price was good for this printer scanner. Plus besides the 3 color inks and 1 black it came with 2 extra blacks which is nice. I hope this one last as long as my last older model.

This printer was delivered by Best Buy and set up by Geek Squad agents who were awesome.
Chose this printer because of efficiency of the refillable ink, much more cost effective than the replacement cartridges.
Small footprint which is nice. The only thing missing in an auto feeder on top which means you have to do a single page at a time. But, in my opinion, an okay tradeoff for the better cost of usage.

Great home office workhorse printer. I’m an illustrator and I do a ton of printing for my work, as well as bulk prints of marketing materials and this printer has been able to handle everything I’ve asked of it. Setup is super easy, connected to my WiFi, computer and tablet without issue. The cartridge-less ink setup is absolutely a game changer for me. I’m so happy to not have to throw out a million plastic cartridges and that my ink lasts longer.

It was a very easy set up. The printing speed is slower than advertised but the print quality is good. One important flaw is the fact that the control panel has no light.

We decided we wanted to try one of the ink tank printers, so we looked for one that had the features we wanted, at a reasonable price. We found this Canon, it does print, copy and scan, and has auto duplex printing and Wifi direct. It has 2 paper feeds, one tray and the back feed for envelopes and odd size paper. Setup was easy, we used the included disk, followed the steps for USB connection and everything worked. Setting up wifi direct was easy, again just followed the steps and it worked. Print quality is very good. We're very pleased with it so far.
The only drawbacks are the display is tiny and not backlit, so very difficult to see. Use a flashlight to see it.
It is somewhat slow, but not a big deal.
Overall, a very good printer.

interesting, wireless, color printer all in one. convenient, fast and quite simple. bought, installed and turned on in the children's room. now I don't worry about running out of ink in a few days. the ink supply in the printer box is enough, I think, for at least six months for my children. definitely recommend :)

So far it has worked well. Set up was (mostly) really easy. The ink tanks were easy to fill. The hardest part was connecting to the internet. They really buried the way to connect straight to the wireless without going through their software. It is literally not in the getting started guide. But you'll need to use the set up menu, and go to Wifi set up to connect straight to your wifi. (This is the only way to use the device with chromebooks as far as I can tell.) So far other than this is has been good. But they should add the wireless only set up to their getting started guide. Also the control panel is a bit a hard to read for an old lady like myself.
Here are the instructions I used: https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/Tutorial/G6000%20series/EN/TRL/Top.html

This is a great printer. Prints quickly and effortlessly. Ink tanks are easy to fill. Not frustrating like the Canon MG7520, that keeps requiring verification of paper stock type. The Canon Print phone app is pretty worthless, but Airprint works well. Haven't printed in color, photos or specialty stocks yet, but have printed from paper cassette and back feed. The G6020 set up was pretty intuitive. So far my only complaint is the didital display, black print difficuot to tead on gray screen.

I love this printer. I bought it because I make books. Notebooks and genealogy books. I do a lot of printing. This printer is great. I have never regretted buying it. It prints card stock, thicker paper and regular paper. Beautiful prints. I haven't tried photo paper but I am sure that is great too.

I was so tired of buying ink cartridges and they would dry up before I could print many pages, so decided to research the ink tank printers. This printer has all of the functions I needed but at a much better price than the other brands. The reviews for set-up had me a little worried, but I was able to plod my way through it after watching some of the videos. Filling the ink tanks was very easy. Printing is great! The screen is hard to see but I keep a small flashlight near.

When I first saw these types of printers with ink tanks, I said to myself "Finally!" But the stock shock always kept me from buying. I bought this on August 16 when it was on sale, i believe it was $80 off. Since that time I have printed over 300 photos ( varying sizes from 4x6 to 8x10) and only print documents in color. i cant say how much documents were printed but my wife prints something everyday. My color tanks are still half full, and my black tank is just under 3/4 full. I still can believe how much you can print on this. Image quality on my pictures are really good, but most of my source material is high resolution (4032 x 3024) and bad results came from trying to print a low res picture (like from and old camera). Setup was easy enough, didn't have any problems connecting to my network. Some may not like the LCD screen as it is not back-lit and small. however, i rarely use it, except to choose my paper type and size. Overall I am really happy with this printer and would highly recommend. Worth every penny.

I read lots of reviews on these Canon printers, plus HP and Epson. And am glad I went with this Canon. It really only took about 20 minutes to set up. The only snag I found was the Canon App crashed on my Chromebook. I did a search and found out the Canon App doesn't work on Chromebooks, and I don't own either a Microsoft for Apple PC. I only have Android products. After using my new Samsung Tablet to download and run the Canon Printer app, everything worked smoothly. I was upset at first because I do lots of reports on my Chromebook and wanted this printer to print my documents. But after registering the printer with my google account, it actually works a 100 times better than the HP printer it's replacing. With my HP I had to save the documents and download to my Chromebook, then open the HP app, open the documents, then print. With this new Canon, I just pick this printer and everything prints right away right from the Google Doc app. Just since April, I purchased over 120.00 worth of ink for my HP printer that uses those throw away cartridges. The last time I had to install a color cartridge in my HP, even with several alignments, the documents no longer look clean and clear. I only had my HP for about a year. In that time I spent twice the price of this new Canon on throw away ink cartridges. I also love that his Canon has two slots for paper, I have regular letterhead in the bottom, and 4x6 photo paper in the top tray, Printing photos from my cellphone look great. Although it's new and I've only had it a short time, I would recommend this printer to anyone looking for a printer that gets rid of the throw away cartridges. This one is easy to put together and set up without having to watch a ton of YouTube videos to make sure you are doing the steps right.

I bought this printer for the low cost of operation, plus good experiences with Canon products and high quality printing at all price points. I have not been disappointed - it prints graphics and text very well, and ink usage can be controlled by regulating print quality. It duplexes, but slowly; single side printing is rated at 13 pages per minute - roughly 3 ppm faster than the next Canon printer in the lineup, and a good bit faster than the cheaper Epson I lloked at (maybe 8 ppm?) Network setup was quick and easy and has not given me any problems. The printer comes with 3 full bottles of color ink (one for each colr), and three bottles of black ink - - which works well for me, as I bought the printer to print text, not graphics or photos. It is a little noisy, but nothing compared to the HP, Samsung and Brother laser printers I own. Warm up from a cold start is pretty quick, and the printer stays read to print for awhile after that. Paper trays hold 250 and 100 sheets. You can put different papers in each, and there is a manual feed for single sheets of thick stock (e.g. report covers). The out put tray has to be pulled out and unfolded, and it is vulnerable to accidental breakage. Ditto for the rear tray. I'd keep roughousing kids and pets away from the printer when it is being used. The control panel is OK, but not lit; I keep a small LED flashlight handy when I am using the printer. BTW - Best Buy got the printer to me very fast at no extra cost, and the price was right for this level of printer. Can't speak to issues like relaibility, durability, jam-prone operation, etc. because I have not had the printer long enough. I am very satisfied with the printer (especially the low cost of printing, and the speed r3elative to the price) and the print quality.
