Customers are saying

Customers regard the PIXMA MegaTank G7020's print quality and ease of use very favorably, with many praising its sharp prints and straightforward setup. The wireless functionality and compact size are also frequently cited as positive aspects. However, some users find the small, unlit display and control panel challenging to use, and a few note that the printer can be somewhat noisy during operation.

Prints very well. Don't like the auto off as it takes too long to print after it is turned back on. Had some trouble loading print drivers and received message printer offline. Other than that, it is a great printer.

Replaced 2 different Epson printers with this one. Great quality prints, easy set up and I love the ink setup. So much better than buying so many cartridges!

Needed a home printer that could print in color without using all the color ink after 5 prints. Set up was pretty easy as long as you follow directions. So far I am satisfied

Generally, I have been happy with this printer in terms of the quality of printing and scanning (no faxes planned). However, I did have a lot of trouble getting the printer to work with my wireless network. Might just be a Canon problem.

Easy to use paint fast overall it is a good printer the downside is there are manual buttons which I don't like when operating it if it was touch screen then I give it five star anyway I recommend if you want to save ink buy this printer

Although the front-panel LCD is from the previous millenium, the machine is overall very easy to use, and so far (1 month of use) is a solid performer. The ink-tank is a great improvement over cartridges, so the initial purchase price is more in line with real cost of the machine vs the subsidized cartridge machines (razor blade model of sales). It will pay for itself much sooner than a cartridge machine.

other than connecting to my computer it has been an a great investment. i followed the instructions exactly and it still took me 2 days to figure out how to connect it to my computer. (probably operator error!) regardless prints clear and quicker than the one i had before. Another thing is it doesn't automatically come on int he morning after not being used overnight. i have to press the power button on the first initial print of the day (and that's no big deal i would trade having to press 1 button any day for no more printer cartridges!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Good print quality. Should save a of $ on ink. A little slow to copy and scan. I missed no regular USB port to scan directly to USB stick, my fault. Overall happy with purchase.

We had a difficult time getting our phones to connect, took a long time and multiple attempts. Once we finally got it set up it was fine and quality is good.

My MX882 gave up the ghost, so replaced it with this G7020. Hooked it up to the LAN and all my Windows boxes found it almost immediately. Did the install bit with the disk to get all the right drivers available and so the computers could see the scanner. Came with enough ink to print for at least a year! It's smaller than the MX882, but it's also a bit slower. Doesn't matter -- I'm not in a hurry to save money.

    Canon G7020

The Canon G7020 has all the features I needed and I really like the Mega Tank solution. It saves money and waste. We like the wireless printing from cell phones and laptops. The printer is nice and compact and the print quality and speed are great. One complaint is that I needed Tech Support for scanning. The Canon scanning software does not work with Windows 10. Tech support provide another software (for free) which handles the scanning function. Once the software was installed scanning works very well.

Nice printer. Great print quality and the ink tanks hold a lot of ink and the refill price really can’t be beat. WiFi connection is a huge pain as the printer shuts itself off after period of inactivity and sometimes when powered back on you need to re-connect to the WIFi.

The printer is a bit pricey compared to what I have had in the past, but if it saves me from constantly buying cartridges, it’s worth it. Once I downloaded the Canon print app, we were all set. I kept the cord from my previous printer for times when I don’t use the wifi connection to print.

Filling ink tanks is a breeze and set was easy! Depending on what you are printing it is a little slow. Copy, fax, and duplex work great and printer is relatively quiet. The one drawback is the LCD display is tiny and not backlit so grab a flashlight during setup because you will need it!

This printer has been easy to operate. Granted I miss my touch screen display, but it is manageable. The ADF works perfectly. Love the rear paper feeder that allows thicker craft paper printing. I am anticipating great savings with the ink system, which is one of the main reasons I purchased this model. I was tired of spending more on ink in 6 months than the cost of other cartridge using printer models. So far....so good!

For some unfathomable reason, Canon did not put a simple USB outlet on the unit. I am having some problems getting the scanning to work, but that is probably me. If they backlit the display, and put the USB back it would be perfect. Other than that, I love it.

I own 2 other Canon Printers, while this is the second most expensive printer I now own. I am delighted by its performance. I love the Mega Tank size and they won't break my bank acc. This all in one printer does it all. My wife uses the printer alir for school work. I on the other hand luke to print photos. This isn't a hi end photo printer, but it does a really good job. All they need to do is allow the printer to use paper profile. So with that said I'm happy because I won't run out of ink so quickly. Thanks Canon
