Customers are saying

Customers regard the PIXMA MegaTank G7020's print quality and ease of use very favorably, with many praising its sharp prints and straightforward setup. The wireless functionality and compact size are also frequently cited as positive aspects. However, some users find the small, unlit display and control panel challenging to use, and a few note that the printer can be somewhat noisy during operation.

I own 2 other Canon Printers, while this is the second most expensive printer I now own. I am delighted by its performance. I love the Mega Tank size and they won't break my bank acc. This all in one printer does it all. My wife uses the printer alir for school work. I on the other hand luke to print photos. This isn't a hi end photo printer, but it does a really good job. All they need to do is allow the printer to use paper profile. So with that said I'm happy because I won't run out of ink so quickly. Thanks Canon

Still learning our way around but no major issues to report. Waiting to see how long before ink needs refilled. Also, it is a bit noisy getting ready & after printing.

The printer was super easy to put together. I had read about problems getting it to stay connected to the wireless network, but I surely have not had any problems at all with that. My two complaints are that the ink is fairly light ... I haven't figured out how to get it to use more ink so that my pages are brighter (I print lots of graphics) ... the colors are fine for plain printed pages. The other complaint is the output holder ... it is a little strange. Works fine as long as there is nothing blocking it. I tend to have things all over my desk ... including near where the paper comes out of the printer and it can cause minor issues. Overall, I am very satisfied and will totally enjoy not having to pay so much for ink as I did with my HP. I would definitely recommend this printer even though it is not "perfect" ... it is very, very good.

I originally ordered the 3270 thinking the only difference was the fax capability. I ws wrong. This device is MUCH better build quality and gives you more ink. The ADF addition makes both printing and scanning a breeze. I don’t have use for the fax but its not in the way.

Love it for what it is. But couldn't rate 5 because it is a bit slow and card stock gets stuck. Aside from that, for regular paper, it prints great. 2 years with it and still going strong.

I love this printer! I got it to use in creating crafts. I wanted an inkjet printer since my everyday laser printer doesn't work with a lot of the crafting materials, like shrink plastic and foil labels. So far I have been very pleased with the quality of the print on multiple materials. I chose this specific model for the MegaTank feature. I expect I will save money versus my a printer with cartridges. I've never owned a Canon printer before but this one is a winner

Nice printer..... ink last longer than my previous hp. Its used for a home business.Very satisfied with it. The only complaint is it seems to want to get paper from the back instead of the cassette which is always full, other than that, great printer.

    Canon G7020 color printer

I had a Canon G4120 that died. It didn't have an ethernet port and I didn't like not having a 350 plain paper capacity tray like the G7020. It did make beautiful color prints on photo paper just like the G7020. The G7020 doesn't come with much of a manual and the online manual is poor on how to setup a network. The color prints are much better than my two color laser printers.

canon support hung up on me twice and told me the problem was with my computer. Finally found help on the internet. Not sure i will buy a Canon again. Not sure how long the cartridges will last but easy to fill. Much faster than my last printer.

I like that the tanks are fillable, and that’s where it ends. It is unbelievably slow and I hate that the control panel isn’t stationary. Honestly, I’m over HP products that last about 2 months past the warranty expiration. I was super busy with work, and couldn’t afford to be without a printer, so I asked my husband to do a little research (he’s an IT guy) and pick out a printer that wasn’t an HP. My mistake.

Picked a bad time to get a new printer, but I am very very happy with my choice!! Managed to buy it, even on sale before it too was out of stock. Did plenty of research, tired of paying too much for toner ink (sorry Best Buy) and feel like I made the right choice. The paper tray hold up to 250 sheets, never have to worry about running out of paper. Agree with the comments about the back lighting on the display but can live with it. Quick and Easy to setup.

    Canon G7000 mega tank printer

I bought this to replace a Canon G 4200 printer. This one is much faster than the old one and makes excellent copies. A little disappointed that it doesn’t have a duplex auto document feeder. I still keep my canon MX 920 to do double-sided scanning because that does it very well. Cannon dropped the ball on this I believe. They should include the auto duplex ADF for scanning. Other than that the printer works great. Much quieter than the 4200 and much faster. I also have an Epson 4760 eco-tank printer in this Beats the printer hands down. Faster, quieter, better copies and better scanning options.
