Set up and Cannon customer service not good.

Finally found help on the internet. Not sure i will buy a Canon again. Not sure how long the cartridges will last but easy to fill. Much faster than my last printer.

I Like This Printer

I really appreciate not having to buy ink tanks every 2 weeks or so. I bought this printer many months ago and this will be the first time I’ll be replacing the ink!!! Yes! Good goin Cannon!

Canon G7000 mega tank printer

This one is much faster than the old one and makes excellent copies. A little disappointed that it doesn’t have a duplex auto document feeder. I still keep my canon MX 920 to do double-sided scanning because that does it very well. Cannon dropped the ball on this I believe. They should include the auto duplex ADF for scanning. Other than that the printer works great. Much quieter than the 4200 and much faster. I also have an Epson 4760 eco-tank printer in this Beats the printer hands down. Faster, quieter, better copies and better scanning options.

Great Printer

My 10ish year old monochrome laser printer died and I was planning on getting another laser but couldn't stomach the cost for color, which I didn't need but did want. The ink system is great and the total cost should be much lower than laser or inkjet. I've printed a bunch of photos as well as boring documents and it works well for all of them. It isn't the fastest but certainly adequate.

Being used for someone who’s in school and needs major printouts it’s well worth every cent. But it only works really well with Multi purpose paper. Any other paper causes it to jam often.

Managed to buy it, even on sale before it too was out of stock. Did plenty of research, tired of paying too much for toner ink (sorry Best Buy) and feel like I made the right choice. The paper tray hold up to 250 sheets, never have to worry about running out of paper. Agree with the comments about the back lighting on the display but can live with it. Quick and Easy to setup.

Fast and simple to use

After using cartridge based printers for several years, is very easy to refill the tint have a very visual verification of tank level. The only drawback is that it doesn't have a remote print option (printing from Internet outside the local network)

Just ok

Picture print quality was lower than what I expected for a camera company. Tiny display and awkward menu system, but the wifi works well and don't have to reset often like other printers we have used.

It can handle our heavy cardstock without jamming. Love the eco tank and the larger volume of ink inside. You won’t be sorry if you purchase it!!!

I've bought thre of these in the last 2-3 years...

These are great machines. They are times you wish it would scan or print faster. Perhaps print as you scan, but the amount of money saved in ink makes it a FANTASTIC investment.

Took 10 minutes and there were no issues. I did have to go in to settings and turn off the automatic sleep mode so I could wi-fi print without pressing the power button each time.

We have had this printer for about 4 weeks and it is great, quiet, and fast and good printing. My wife and I print about 400 to 500 pages per month. Print in color and b&w and the ink levels hardly moved not even at the first line. in all colors. Replaced my HP 7640 I was paying over $225 per year for ink cartridges. HP has a mega tank type but the printer is very very expensive compared to canon & Epson
