Customers are saying
Customers regard the PIXMA MegaTank G7020's print quality and ease of use very favorably, with many praising its sharp prints and straightforward setup. The wireless functionality and compact size are also frequently cited as positive aspects. However, some users find the small, unlit display and control panel challenging to use, and a few note that the printer can be somewhat noisy during operation.

beautiful prints
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the Mega tanks! I do a lot of color printing and it was ridiculous on the amt of cartridges... This has saved me $. Thanks Canon for making a great photo printer all in one.

Printer is OK
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Printer is OK if you do not mind pouring ink into those ink jet bottles. It is supposed to print great pictures but I never did use the unit, I decided to take it back and get the Canon color laser printer----that I love. If you got steady hands---go for it!! I did my research on this product and Consumer Reports does it high, so I'm assuming they are correct---and especially noted that it prints great pictures.

Functional with a good price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is rated very high by Consumer Reports. I love that it is wireless and can connect to ALL the devices in our home. Black and white printing is fine but color printing is a bit slow. Some parts are flimsy cheap plastic but if you're not rough on it you should be fine.

Only had it a couple of weeks, but
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have only had it a couple of weeks, but I have not been disappointed with the performance of this printer. It has all of the features I need for my needs and the software interface is easy to use. The only trouble I am having with it and cost it a star is that it doesn't always wake up from deep sleep automatically over the wi-fi and I haven't figured which setting to tweak to get it to do so and the Canon website in the US has been down. Not a big deal for me, but it may be for you.

Best Printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer is awesome! I have always had HP printers and their print and photo quality can't compare to this printer. The tank instead of a cartridge is an added feature.

No More Cartridges
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best home printer we've had. The ink is less expensive and that is worth the price in and of itself.

Ink tanks are better than cartridges
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did a lot of research prior to purchase. I needed to replace an old canon printer which lasted for 10 years. I trust Canon. The printer is very quiet. You can visibly see the ink tank level. Easy to refill.

Geek Squad and my printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has worked very well after Allen, from the Geek Squad, came to my home on a Sunday to help me with some issues that I was having. The Best Buy Geek Squad has been very helpful anytime I've needed them and the printer is working well.

Quality economical printing and does it all
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. Very economical printing and good color picture quality. It does everything well. The only thing I don't like is the very small display screen. At this price point I expected more. The real test will be how well the print heads hold up.

Does what I need it to do
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first Canon experience, as my other home printers have been HP. I read the reviews before purchasing and the biggest attraction was the ink supply. It isn't the fastest printer I have owned but I use the standard setting instead of the economy-haven't tested that setting yet. The print quality in black is fine, color (images) is not as crisp as I'd like to see it but, then again, I haven't experimented with the different settings. It, at times, will not print from my android phone unless I use the Canon print app; sometimes print jobs get hung up in the queue and a few times it tries to print from the rear tray though I don't use that tray, but, overall, it's a good replacement and does what I need it to, so I'm happy.

Great All in one unit
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We really enjoy it so far. The user interface takes a little getting used to. Scans and prints pretty quickly. Looking forward to only having to fill the ink tanks up vs. Having to replace cartridges.

Canon G7020 Great Printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall I feel this is a great printer. The speed of the print isn't bad. I have had a faster one but its good. I love the fact you can add the ink and see what level of the ink is left. I would recommend.

Canon Pixma
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The print quality is excellent. It is the easiest printer I have ever had to take apart to unjam. It is very noisy. And the paper jam light frequently comes on even though there is no paper jam. I am learning to just turn the machine off, wait a few seconds, and turn it back on to see if the light clears before I start taking it all apart.

Pay for your ink savings!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer functions adequately, have not had any major issues - other than it does not have a web interface for performing print/scan functions. The big benefit of this printer is the large capacity ink wells - over time they should save money on ink. However, as a printer, it's functionality is not on par with other printers in this price range. It prints extremely slow, has mediocre web interface, and is built pretty cheaply. The buyer is paying a premium for a mediocre printer in order to offset the premium for ink cartridges - essentially paying ahead for the ink cartridges you plan to save (which means no real savings in life cycle costs for the printer). It works, but, I'd rather have a more robust printer that is in line with the $375 price tag. My $80 HP 6970 printer performs better, faster, has more functionality, but, eats cartridges. So, if you want to save on ink, this printer will do it, but, at an up-front premium that erases any ink savings.
