Customers are saying
Customers regard the PIXMA MegaTank G7020's print quality and ease of use very favorably, with many praising its sharp prints and straightforward setup. The wireless functionality and compact size are also frequently cited as positive aspects. However, some users find the small, unlit display and control panel challenging to use, and a few note that the printer can be somewhat noisy during operation.

Canon printer is "Great"
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We are still getting educated by the machine. Even though it is our third Canon printer, it is still different in some ways and the same in other ways. However, we are pleased with the printer and especially like the fact that we do not have to replace ink cartridges that empty at awkward times. We like the huge ink recepticles.

Not a fan of this printer.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wish I liked this printer. I ended up returning it. I love the Mega Tank system. However, this printer had to be returned for two reasons - 1- No speed dials or quick buttons or address book. The thing that I do most with the printer is send myself scans to my email. My old Lexmark printer, I could scan to different email adresses. Push the address in my touch screen the address book and walk away. I have my work email, personal, my wife, etc.. This printer only lets you scan to Outlook from a computer that must be on to accept the scan. So, you need to be at your computer open the Outlook and request a scan to Outlook for it work. You have to load the software in everyone's computer who you want to scan to and train them how to request a scan from the device. Bring your laptop to the printer. It is going backwards in technology. 2/ the interface is terrible. I spent half an hour trying to navigate with the arrows to scan on two sides. It is not touch screen and the navigation and instructions in the tiny screen are not intuitive. No address book. I know if I kept this - my family members would need me to help them do anything except the most basic printing. The quality of the printing was just fine. The interface - terrible..

Good Overall Printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works well. Disappointing that the duplex copier is Manual front to back and not automatic. It defeats the purpose of the auto scan function IMO.

Copier

Great printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this printer. I have always loved Canon printers/cameras, etc. My husband has another major brand and has had nothing but problems with it. I will always stay with Canon. Best Buy made this purchase very easy. They ordered it for me and then when it arrives they loaded it into my car. The only recommendation I would make is that the instruction screen be back lighted in future models.

Not impressed.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Frustrating to set up, frustrating to use. Overly complicated, control panel not intuitive. Prints very slowly. Hoping I get used to it over time, and its inadequacies are offset by savings on toner. Really liked my old HP printer/scanner, but the toner costs were insane.

Not a fan
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have purchased Canon printers for years. This is the first one I have bought with the megatank. I have had the cartidriges in the past. I must say that this is an okay printer. I have problems with print quality over time. I dont use is a lot but when I do, I need it to work. I have replaced the print head, gone thru all of the cleaning routines but still often have blurred printing. I would not recommend this on.

Excellent. But setup instructions could be better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. But setup instructions could be better...clearer. And the ‘energy saving’ auto shut off is a default that’s annoying. Found the way to turn off that feature a few steps into the menu.

home printer
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer was great. I have had it for several months and barely used 1/4 of the ink. Unfortunately it is now not printing well. It prints pink instead of blue. It acts like maybe one of the heads is clogged, but I used the maintenance buttons to clean it and it still isn't working great. Their recommendation is to unplug it for 24 hours and try again. Very frustrating for a relatively expensive home printer.

Great printer - small display
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This would be the perfect printer if they made the display larger. On a positive side, you really only need the display for initial setup, then you can use Canon software to manage your settings.

Best Printer Ever Owned
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easily the best printer I've ever owned in my entire life. SO easy to set up, including connection to the WiFi and the computer wirelessly. Literally "plug and play" to use that old phrase. The print quality is amazing on high quality paper. I've not used it to print a photo yet, as I rarely print photos. Scanning is lickety split, as well. Very highly recommended!
