Big tanks are great! Only complaint so far is that pictures don't seem to be as good as the mx922 it replaced. Might be it needs tweaking.

This printer is a good product. Easy setup, great job printing pictures. My only complaint is the small screen that isn't backlit. Hard to see the settings without a good light on the screen.

One of my favorite purchases. I have had many printers, but this one is consistently good at doing what is expected.

Devil of a time getting it setup, but part of that is on me as I am only half tech savvy; I finally prevailed. Never loved the color prints when compared to my old Epson, but I hear that is a common complaint for tank printers. Biggest complaint is that after a year and a half, color printing no longer works satisfactorily - I mean flesh tone is now green and red prints fuchsia. Looked online and found this is a known problem with this printer and cannot be fixed. Canon recommends a new printer. I should have bought the Geek Squad Protection. I am going back with an Epson photo printer and keeping this one around to print documents.

Hard to load paper in back tray and no light on the screen. Makes it hard to read.

I usually love Canon products, but this printer had problems out of the box. I should have followed my instincts and returned it then, but the issues were minor and I have it a chance. Over the past 2 years it has been one problem after another, document feeder ALWAYS jams, lost ability to print color a while back and now doesn’t print at all. All troubleshooting was performed and nothing helps. This printer was a lemon and I am very disappointed, dissatisfied and this printer was a waste of money. Ink tanks still have plenty of ink so that is not the issue. Unlike my previous Canon printer which lasted a long time, had touch screen controls, and easy to use software, the software package that came with this is abysmal.

Canon has been our first choice for a printer because of its reliability. I wish the display was larger, but all of them have gone to tiny displays. ☹️ It it is still the best one out there.

The good: by my estimate, the price per page for ink is great if that is a major concern. Installing the printer on my ethernet network and getting it work with my two connected Windows 10 computers was easy. The bad: the printer is slow, I mean really slow even when printing in fast mode. If you want to print legal, the tray does not accommodate that size and so it must be feed in through the back of the printer. Getting this printer to work with my house of Chromebooks was a nightmare. The print quality is just meh.

I don't know how I wound up with this! I usually read reviews quite carefully, especially the negative ones. There were enough warnings, that I never should have gotten this. I found it to be the most UN-friendly user printer I have ever had. There is no logical way to find anything in the Menu. It has to be scrolled thru every time to even hopefully find what one is looking for. There is NOTHING intuitive about it at all. The gosh-awful display screen measures 1 3/4"x7/16", & is a medium grey with slightly darker grey letters which also have some ghosting behind them. One needs a lighted magnifying glass in order to even barely read it. I am NOT 'techy-illiterate", but I find nothing consistent about its operation. Sometimes it comes up with some weird screens which don't even give a coherent explanation as to what to do. Sometimes it prints; other times it doesn't for no reason at all. Then if it decides to do so, it prints multiple copies of the same thing, because I was trying several times to get it to copy in the first place. I find it to be also unreliable with faxing; again nothing consistent. I can't seem to find how to set the current date/time. One of the most annoying things is that for some reason, when talking on the phone to which it is hooked, after a couple minutes it starts up with that gosh-awful fax tone. I press the off button, which is very slow to respond, so often resort to just pulling the power cord. I've a a number of printer/fax machines over the years & NEVER have I had one that I truly detest like I do this one. Of course it's way too late for any kind of exchange or trade-in & I hate to try to sell it on Offer Up, or even give it to a Thrift Store & have someone else get stuck with this 'albatross'!!! I don't understand why it has some higher ratings. The longer I've had it, the more 'stars' it has lost, until there are no more that can be lost!!

Great printer! The tank design is so much more convenient if you print a lot, which we do. The price of the printer should quickly be offset by the print cartridge savings when you consider the cost of most cartridges these days.

Overall a good all around printer, fairly easy set up. I did not find this printer to be user friendly at all, but Canon support is excellent.

Love this printer. Ink is cheap and lasts a while.

I thought the inkjet was going to make an unholy mess, but not a single drop was spilled. Well done, Canon!

Exactly what we needed for the home office. Setup was easy

This is by far the worst printer i have ever had. Constantly loses the wifi signal, remite printing literally never works and the control panel is extremely awkward. It seens to be on its own way. We keeo trying to start ovet but nothing seems to work. Getting ready to go back to HP. Simple n easy,

This should have a FIVE rating but Canon screwed up, there is no backlight for the small digital readout, can often require a flashlight in less than optimal conditions.
