Customers are saying

Customers regard the PIXMA MegaTank G7020's print quality and ease of use very favorably, with many praising its sharp prints and straightforward setup. The wireless functionality and compact size are also frequently cited as positive aspects. However, some users find the small, unlit display and control panel challenging to use, and a few note that the printer can be somewhat noisy during operation.

Other than the incredibly slow printing, the slow response time from the computer to the printer, the cumbersome control panel, this printer works--when it feels like it. Wish I could return it. May just sell it used on Ebay or FB and go back to Hewlett Packard. HP is more expensive, but it works well.

This printer is very good. But the one thing that makes it great are the tanks for the ink. No more cartridges.

Love it. It is wireless so doesn’t take up a slot on the computer and can use it to print from any device.

Canon's are always great products. The large ink supply is my reason for upgrading to this printer/scanner/fax.

Saves money on ink. it's quite when it prints. Slower than my HP but it's worth it to save money in ink.

Printer was very easy to set up and start using. Instructions are very straight forward. Extra Black ink was a bonus. Looking forward to not buying cartridges that run out after 50 pages anymore.

Our Canon Pixma MX882 died after many years. Returned the Epson Ecotank from Costco because it was very loud and difficult to setup. As a printer this is better than the Pixma in that it prints black texts darker and hopefully saves me money with refillable ink, but that is it. The setup was easier than the Epson but still difficult to get used to. The display hard to see. Worse is the scanner. It's so slow and can't duplex scan.

I purchased March 2021 & have had nothing but problems. I print professionally on Etsy & did tons of research- I'm constantly having to reinstall the print heads- I still get a few lines. (maybe there have always been problems with the timing strip?) Now today I find out their is ink splatter on my timing strip & I can't get it off- so I am basically out of luck. No idea how much it will cost to take to a repair shop. The amount of time I have spent maintenancing and troubleshooting since I bought this is INSANE! I do not recommend this- and if you do buy it- you NEED to get the sales warranty. I can't believe all the problems I have had for a printer that costs this much. The customer service agent for Canon said this isn't a typical problem for their product- but.....not sure I believe it. So disappointed!!!! And so much money for the ink and back up ink. Had to replace the print heads last month and thought maybe things would be smooth sailing from there- but it's not. Cannot believe the hours, and hours and hours of research I did before buying a printer and ended up with this.

Always like Canon products. I can't offer an opinion on comparing lower priced Canon printers. This one performs well. Time will tell if the new ink system is better than individual cartridges.

Thought I was buying a good printer, but am very disappointed, because for some reason the front display doesn't seem to have a light and in order to see the functions I'm trying to use I need a flashlight. Don't know if it's defected, or that's how it is suppose to be. Maybe you could advise me on this issue. for the money it costed you would think it would have a light

    Constant Scan Problems

If scanning is important part of why you are purchasing the G7020 Wireless All-In-One Printer, I STRONGLY recommend you do not purchase this printer. I have had nothing but problems since I purchased mine 6 months ago. The hours I have spent trying to scan one simple document has been so cost prohibitive from a time perspective, I am just throwing the printer away and starting with another manufacture; likely HP, which never caused me any problems. Read the reviews on the Canon website. It turns out this is a very common problem. Be warned!
