I purchased March 2021 & have had nothing but problems. I print professionally on Etsy & did tons of research- I'm constantly having to reinstall the print heads- I still get a few lines. (maybe there have always been problems with the timing strip?) Now today I find out their is ink splatter on my timing strip & I can't get it off- so I am basically out of luck. No idea how much it will cost to take to a repair shop. The amount of time I have spent maintenancing and troubleshooting since I bought this is INSANE! I do not recommend this- and if you do buy it- you NEED to get the sales warranty. I can't believe all the problems I have had for a printer that costs this much. The customer service agent for Canon said this isn't a typical problem for their product- but.....not sure I believe it. So disappointed!!!! And so much money for the ink and back up ink. Had to replace the print heads last month and thought maybe things would be smooth sailing from there- but it's not. Cannot believe the hours, and hours and hours of research I did before buying a printer and ended up with this.

Printer was very easy to set up and start using. Instructions are very straight forward. Extra Black ink was a bonus. Looking forward to not buying cartridges that run out after 50 pages anymore.

Thought I was buying a good printer, but am very disappointed, because for some reason the front display doesn't seem to have a light and in order to see the functions I'm trying to use I need a flashlight. Don't know if it's defected, or that's how it is suppose to be. Maybe you could advise me on this issue. for the money it costed you would think it would have a light

Feel kind of cheap and flimsy. Very noisy. I have printed documents, no photos, scanned and copied. I haven't faxed yet.

Always like Canon products. I can't offer an opinion on comparing lower priced Canon printers. This one performs well. Time will tell if the new ink system is better than individual cartridges.

exactly what I needed for a small business at home and kids school work that needs to be printed.

I bought this printer for my genealogy project. I needed to scan old and new photos and print them. Also, I write family stories in Word and they include old and new photos, maps and color documents. Both the photos and Word documents printed terribly. They were so faded you couldn't recognize the faces. The Geek Squad agent who set it up even stayed and tried to troubleshoot with me which was not his job. So kind of him to understand my frustration and try and help me. Later I called Cannon and the representive said to not use printers that have ink wells, but to use cartidges instead for better photos and color documents. I returned it. I am frustrated. Cannon, Epson etc are getting rid of cartidges and going with the new Ink Well design.

Great priced all in one printer that has a large tank reservoir and ink bottles to go with it.

Great purchase! Would refer to Friend. Because I like the features of this Canon Printer.

Its ok have to get up every time to turn it on to print from my lab top

Printer works perfectly for the applications I need

Inconstant. Works for a bit, then not Printing from two devices causes it to freak out. Keeps shutting off after a few hours of not printing. Frustrating.

This will only work wirelessly I found out pn the iMac if it was plugged into WiFi.
