Customers are saying
Customers regard the PIXMA MegaTank G7020's print quality and ease of use very favorably, with many praising its sharp prints and straightforward setup. The wireless functionality and compact size are also frequently cited as positive aspects. However, some users find the small, unlit display and control panel challenging to use, and a few note that the printer can be somewhat noisy during operation.

NOT User Friendly
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We've owned printers for decades and this is the least user friendly one we've ever had! Slow printing, difficult to understand and read unlit digital menu. Now right at 2 years since we bought, it suddenly stopped printing black ink. We've tried everything suggested. Have a 4-yr extended warranty, so guess to the Geeks it goes!

POOR RETURN SERVICE
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not happy with this pur have at all! Starting a business, & realized i ordered the wrong printer. I tried to cancel order before it even began processing online, but it wouldn't allow me too! I checked and seen y'all had a 30 day return policy. Just to see its been changed to 15 days uuuuugh... Now I'm just stuck with a $400 printer I don't need, because I purchased the correct one from Staples! It's been horrible weather & I missed the deadline to return because of this! I will not be purchasing anything else from you guys ever again.....

Total Disappointment to Experienced User
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yesterday I purchased the G7020 with enthusiasm to replace my HP printer which after many years lost contact with one of the printheads which I was not able to repair due to a "frozen latch" to remove/reinstall the printhead. I decided to try out Canon instead of HP because of the reported flimsy construction of the latest HP printers. Installation and setup of this Canon printer is a total nightmare in all respects due to vague and non-existent detailed instructions. Internet connection set-up is almost impossible. The printer LCD screen is not back-lit and almost impossible to read. Sadly, I am returning this printer out of total frustration and disappointment in Canon.

Unhappy with the G7020
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The G7020 won't scan with or without Wifi. Instructions are complicated, the display is extremely small and not easy to read. I really want to returned but is is past the return date. i am sorry I purchased it, it has been very problematic.

Canon G7020
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has been 15 months since I bought this printer. It has had problems with feeding paper, especially if you fill the trays full. and wanting to also be printing from the back slot for reasons I've never quite cleared. The effects answer is set to auto and I've never figured out a good way to stop it other than just unplugging the phone cord.

Seems like a good idea but, don't do it!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Returned it.....check YouTube. This is a very poor design as all of the tank printers are. When the overflow finally gets full the printer STOPS working and you buy another. This overflow occurs when you need to purge the printheads and this happens often. The absorption towel is NOT a replaceable item.

Prints random copies over weeks!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had a Pixma 970 for 7 years and loved it, so when it finally died, we got another Pixma. Top of the line. We liked the tank system, but it had a much worse scanner, with no auto-duplex like the 970. What's horrible about this one is that it won't print when you want to about 50% of the time. What's even worse than horrible is that when you successfully print, it will REPRINT that document randomly over the next SEVERAL WEEKS. This has happened on two unrelated computers many times in the 2 months we've had it.

Started off good
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer started off good but after doing a printer cleaning it stopped printing and I only had it for one year there was a problem with the hardware

Don’t buy it.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Slow and very complicated printer. Power saver mode (impossible to turn off) causes a 3-5 minute delay in printing a document. Even when power saver not implicated, a simple black and white print takes several minutes. I returned the printer.

Printer won't print from main front tray
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer does not print from the main tray. Instead it tells me I need to put paper in the rear feed. This is riduculous and I have never had a printer that did not default to the main front tray. If the geek squad cannot fix this when they come out it is going back to BestBuy!

Mrs
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Terrible, I bought the first one in July. It worked till October. Best Buy replaced it and I had the geeks come out to install. As fast as he installed it the printer would not stay connected and was unable to print. It wasn’t my WiFi.The geek squad guy told me to pick a different model. I pick a Brother.

Do not buy this
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don’t get this printer. It never wants to print from the main tray. It doesn’t matter what you set it up to do on the printer itself and it doesn’t matter what you set it up on the computer. There’s no point to having such a large printer if a large part of it doesn’t work.
