Great printer for a college dorm room.

He said it was easy to set up, and he was able to start printing immediately. It fits on his desk in his room, and some of his friends in his dorm stop by to print stuff all of the time. I would recommend this printer to any parent who would like a dependable printer for their college student.

Wish it wouldn't use the mobile app for initial setup but that's the way it is nowadays. Once you set it up through the app to get the IP address you can uninstall it from your phone.

Canon PixmaMG 3620

Replaces an HP which was expensive but perfect - until it (in mid-print) issued a message that it “does not recognize” it’s ink cartridges”. Getting a new set of cartridges did not fix the problem. Routine printing on this Canon; higher quality needed, I print at Staples.

I like it because it is small and light. The ink is not as expensive as others. It depends on what you use it for. I only print copies of documents

Great, but a pain to set up

I have had it for a while now & I haven’t ran into any problems. It was easy to set up and connect to all of my devices. It gets the job done for my basic, at-home printing needs.
