Real space-saver ...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.... but still gives you all the frills. The only thing it doesn't have is a fax. I had moved and had a very small space in which to place my new printer but i wanted everything my old printer had. This one is perfect.

Does what it should
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Exactly as good as I was hoping for the price. Prints, scans, copies. Doesn't get paper jams. It's not the most amazing thing I've ever owned, but for a cheap printer, it's great.

High cost, low tier. Go bigger, or go Brother.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are price brackets when it comes to these things. This printer is at the high end of the bottom tier for printers. It costs more so you think you're getting a better one, but it's still in the same bottom tier of print as $40 one. If you want a good reliable printer I'd go with something about $135 that will last over a decade, otherwise you'll be buying a new printer every few years for $40-90. Split the payments if you have to, it's worth the jump to the next tier. All that said, I've gone through 3 Canon printers in 4 years before eventually landing on a Brother all in one that I've not had for 6 years. Don't make the same mistakes I made. Happy Printing.

Great so far
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this printer for a little over a month and so far I’ve had no issues. I’m a student and use this mainly for printing off large quantities of paperwork. No paper jams which is nice. I haven’t had to print pictures yet and everything that I print has yet to be colored. My only issue was setting it up. It wasn’t cooperating with my laptop, but after maybe 30 minutes I got it up and working properly.

Not so good printer with many flaws
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The printer shuts down after a period of time. The only way to make it print wirelessly or corded to a computer is to manually turn it on. I use it wirelessly. That is frustrating as my computer in not near the printer. That means I must get up, walk across room and turn on the computer so that it will print for me. The tray to catch the printed papers is very short causing copies to often fall in the floor. That is another frustrating thing as many times the papers should be in a collated order. Picking them up and putting back in correct order is added time to getting something accomplished! The ink is a little on the expensive side. I was hoping a less expensive printer would mean less expensive ink. The ink is the same price as an expensive printer. Lastly, it took several tries to change the default mode of printing to the set up I had desired. I prefer to print most things in Econo speed and ink for a savings of ink and money! It doesn't give you the option to make the change in the Windows menu for the specific printer. You must do it in Word mode. I think I prefer an HP model.
