Great printer, i bought it for my desk at my office and I love it

No longer must we toil away our days printing books for the masses. What once took a day now requires less than three hours. The office is quickly filling with books that will go on to change the course of history and recreate society in the image of Europe's greatest poets and philosophers. We needed this for my elderly mother-in-law for her desk with limited space. It has been easy for her to use, takes up little space, and reasonably priced.

I am enjoying the product, although admittedly, I have not yet tried the wireless printing capabilities, as I only currently have a chromebook, which apparently is incompatible with that function.

Printer setup was really easy and the printing quality is great. As with most current printers the real cost is the ink. Don't like how Cannon tries to force you to buy their replacement cartridges by telling you that a refilled cartridge is out of ink.

Decent budget printer. Easy enough setup, what I don’t like about it is no paper tray, paper just sits there and falls out.

I wanted a second printer, and I selected this model because my other printer is a Canon and I wanted to use the same size ink cartridges. This is my second attempt with this purchase - I had to return the first one because it kept saying I hadn't removed all the packaging and it was giving me an error code. After trying for an hour to find the "packaging" I hadn't removed, including unscrewing parts of the printer, I gave up and returned it. I got the second one - same model - and cannot even insert the ink cartridges. The sliding mechanism keeps bumping into something. After wrestling with this problem for another hour and getting the print heads in the right spot, the cartridge release would not pull down all the way in order to insert the cartridges. Then a little lever snapped off as I was trying to move it out of the way. There are no instructions or diagrams anywhere that explain what this little lever was for. It was just a random moving part underneath the cartridge holders. I am probably getting too detailed here, but let it suffice to say that the mechanical aspects of the machine itself are poorly built and do not line up correctly in order to function. I am not technologically illiterate. In fact, I know how Canon printers are supposed to work, because I already owned one. So, this one is going back to the store and I will NOT be purchasing another Canon printer. I am so frustrated and disappointed. p.s. when packing it back up, the paper tray won't even close up again. Just a terrible piece of machinery.
