This is a good printer quality wise and set up worked well, but there seems to be an on-going problem with the paper load.
It sometimes tells me its out of paper when it is not, and i have to pull out the cassette and push it back in once or twice and then it seems ok.
That's worrisome for a new machine and also the reason I junked my Epson printer. it would not print no matter what I did and kept saying there was no paper - finally in frustration I gave up and bought this Pixma.

I bought this printer when my HP Photosmart died after 8 years. It was an adjustment to print pictures without vivera colors but this printer still prints good photos. It seems that the ink goes fast so it's good that there are individual cartridges. For the price, it does a nice job on my scrapbook photos.
I would recommend this to a friend

This is a great printer! It was bigger than I expected but definitely fast and produce high quality prints. There is even a quiet mode!
