Purchased because ink was cheaper than most other printers

This printer is awesome for printing pictures for gifts or even to go around the house.

Great all in one, copy scan and print , the and wireless

Love it, it can scan wirelessly as well as print. Much improvement from my rusty old printer. What I like about it is the double sided printing as well as the easy set up. Printing quality is not that bad either, haven't tried the photo printing yet though.

I'll preface this by saying that I work in computers, and have set up dozens of printers in the past few years. It's largely because of that experience that I was extremely disappointed in the setup protocol for this printer. Nearly every other printer I've set up in the past several years - including some older Canon models - connected quickly and easily to wifi, without need of a computer or mobile device to set it up. The Pixma MG6821, on the other hand, has a unnecessarily long and convoluted setup. Not complicated, mind you - just stupid and prone to failure. For starters, you cannot access the printer menu until you complete one of the prescribed setup wizards. I've never encountered a printer before that completely shut me out of the main menu until I completed its inefficient, mandatory wizard. So first I tried to do the device-less setup - configuring the printer as a network printer, without connecting to a device - and the process just straight-up failed. So I then tried the 'wireless setup through a device' - configuring the printer as a network printer, using a network-connected PC to set it up wirelessly - and that also failed. Finally, like it was 2002 or something, I was forced to follow the wired USB setup, and that only partially worked; the PC downloaded the drivers and software, installed them, and set up the printer in Windows, but then the printer itself froze. Only after restarting the printer was I finally able to go into the settings and manually connect to my network and set it up as a network printer. Once it was connected, though it worked fine. The print quality and speed is adequate for its class. It's not too noisy, nor too bulky. Exactly the kind of printer you'd expect in this price range. Overall, I do not recommend this printer because there are plenty of other options in this price range of comparable quality that are much easier to set up.

got this printer when I installed windows 10 and it works very good and easy to set up

This my 3rd Cannon all in one printer. I loved the other 2. This one prints faster, but the paper seems to lose the feed quite often. So it gives the out of paper message when there is still plenty of paper.

I bought this to replace a 10 year old printer that finally quit. This printer was on sale and had the options that I was looking for. Very happy with my choice. Hopefully this printer lasts for 10 years, too.

Since I don't do anything fancy, this printer is perfect for me. My only gripe is that the ink replacements are pricey - even thought the colors are separate and can be purchased individually (I'm told). Still I go through the black ink at a good clip, so . . . . However, I imagine ink replacements for ANY printer are expensive.

The all-in-one works well. No complaints. It was super easy to set up and connect to the wifi at home. Best part is you can get cheap ink refills for this machine at costco. Pretty good deal in my opinion

I bought this printer for a friend because of its high quality. I will only buy Canon printers now because I want my printers to last longer than a year. This printer is great for documents and printing photos are wonderful. It is so user friendly.

Printer works great. Setup is easy but a little time consuming. Wireless connectivity is easy and links with any computer in your house and smartphones. Easy to use. Simple touchscreen is easy to navigate.

Perfect for what I need. Easy to install. Easy to operate, and does a great job.

Bought this in the store , rep was very helpful . Got home needed to upgrade the software , had to wait until Monday as they're close on weekends , bit frustrated. But Monday came technical support was soooo helpful and got me up and running in no time.

I like the clarity of the print, the speed is a bit slow, but not a real inconvenience. It is easy to use the prompts help a lot, Still new for me, so will figure out with directions, what I need

This printer is very small so it does not use much space. It supports wireless so it is very convenient for me. It can meet my needs and I am fortunate to buy this one and saved money.
