Our first try with a Canon - was leery of so many ink cartridges but seems to be working out fine. The print is nice and clear and photos are really crisp. We print our own greeting cards and the printer doesn't recognize half card envelopes so we had to improvise a bit but we're pleased with everything else.

other than the fact that it does almost everything except fax i really like it. the ink isn't too expensive compared to the other options i had and it prints kind of fast. I have had several occasions when it doesn't want to prink the fist time and i have had to turn it off but I'm not sure if its my internet.

easy set up really like the wi/fi print and picture quality are very good

We found this item to meet our needs exactly. We checked other sources such as Amazon but decided to visit Best Buy and make the purchase in person.

I'm no expert reviewer, and I think most reviews should be taken with a grain of salt, but I think this is an excellent renter for the money. The color is good and the prints come out quickly. My only wish is that the paper fed straight through rather than through curling around a roller and back out again.

If I had to use the printer in a professional setting it would not pass muster. For home use I can live with it.

This turned out to be an awesome printer with a couple of caveats: 1. Printer cartridges can be pricy but are less expensive compared to the more expensive models of canon printers 2. The paper catcher is a little small and doesn't hold the papers well Other than that it looks and performs well

Needed a photo quality color printer. Very affordable and easy to use.

I got this printer to replace an old HP printer. After, purchasing several HP printers, not able to get them to stay connected to my network, and returning them, I got this one. Set up was super easy. It turns itself off to save energy. Neat! I loved my old HP but new ones were not the same.

I needed to replace a 6 year old PIXMA printer, that I had been VERY satisfied with. My requirements were a reasonable sized footprint, and wireless ready. I got both and then some. The footprint is about standard for flatbed scanners currently, and the wireless set up was flawless, intuitive, and quick. Within moments of plugging the unit into the wall outlet, I was online with my Airport router, and printing from several iPhones, iPads, and Mac-Books. The print quality is fantastic, and relatively quiet. The time to "wake" from standby mode could be a little quicker, but I never need a document printed so fast that 10 seconds is going to kill me. Photo quality has been acceptable for me as I have only printed out some family snapshots to display around the house. For the money I couldn't be happier.
