I checked out the HP and Brother products and asked a rep about them. She told me pros and cons of both then directed me to a Canon printer. She told me about that printer as well as how I could get a huge discount on one. I love a good discount so I bought it. I am really happy with that printer. We primarily use it for everyday printing but the photo printing is excellent, too. I was a bit skeptical of Canon prior to trying them but I'm really glad we bought this model.

Great printer but too expensive to replace ink

It is a bit noisey, it likes to make sounds after you print a page.....like it is going to print again. I like it because it can be used with my phone and tablet. The only thing I hate is it is VERY EXPENSIVE to replace the ink cartridges....more so than any printer I have ever purchased.
