I wanted a wireless plus a connected printer. the printer did not even come with the USB connection cord to connect to the PC. I find this unusual. Most people use printers both ways

Historically I've used HP's but this was too good to pass up, bought for an employee. He seems to love it, has all the necessary bells and whistles...still not sure about ink usage. That will be the deciding factor. time will tell.

Since I purchased this printer a few weeks ago it has worked fine. No delay when you want to print something. It prints shortly after you turn the printer on and request a print.

I loved this printer when it worked, but that wasn’t long enough. About a year or two after I got it, I got notices saying that it was unsupported. That was a few years ago now, so I don’t remember all the details of those notifications. I was able to continue printing, so I ignored it and went on. Well now it’s five years old and it’s giving an error message saying it needs to be repaired. There is no support offered when I look up the error message. Everything I find points to buying a new printer. I only got about a year of heavy use out of this printer while I was in school. After that it was only occasional use for shipping labels and whatnot. This is the second Canon printer I’ve had that lasted 5 years or less. Maybe my expectations are too high, but I’ll probably be trying a new brand with my next one.

I bought this printer on a rockin deal and it is to replace my older Epson model. So far it definitely looks better and takes up less space. Only downside is the ink is pricier but look for a deal every so often and your set!

Got a great deal when Best Buy offered gift cards with this printer. The deal got even better when I was able to price match too. Once the printer arrived, setup was fairly easy - about the same as an HP printer. Overall it keeps wifi connection well and it does the job.

The photos take a bit to dry but that could be due to the paper. After printed paper kind of "flies" out of the printer but that's manageable. It's easy to install and easy to use from our phones and computer via wifi.

We bought this to be our home printer and scanner. It is a little nois but otherwise it works great! We've used it for photos, documents and invitations and it was great!

Taking online classes I really needed a reliable printer. Love the fact that it hooks up to my wifi and it doesn't have to be hooked up to my computer. The printer is literally out of site/out of the way.

It's great to have a compact copier/scanner/printer that can be connected to the network, can print from my iphone, etc. If I could improve one thing, it is photo quality. Even on good paper they are not ideal.

I had trouble setting up WIFI connection after I accidentally put in the language as Chinese and was unable to read the directions. the printer works well. I have not paper jams as I had w/my epson printer.

I'm not pleased with the quality of the scanning, needs improvement. Everything else works fine, printing is good quality. And the Wi-Fi connection is great.

I purchased this printer because I saw how wonderful it printed edible papers. A baker told me that she purchased the printer alone and got the edible inks via a website and it does a great job. Thanks!

The printer was a bit difficult to setup with my Macbook Air. Fortunately Apple's website had the drivers I needed. Cartridges are pricey, but what else is new? Very good machine for a low initial price.

Set up of Canon is much simpler than HP. Ink is as expensive as HP; prints well; not as sharp , though. However, I am not disappointed that I changed printers.

The printer is so much faster than my old one, but it does use a lot of ink and one thing I overlooked was that it doesn't have a document feeder, but it works well. For the price it was a good buy.

I wish that this printer had more space for paper because you have to have the door open when there's paper in the printer. You can close the door for less clutter but it folds your paper. This printer is also huge. It's not super gigantic but frontally takes up a sizable amount of space especially if it's on your desk. I wish ink was cheaper but so far it's a printer that prints and scans.

This is a printer. Got it for a cheap price and have used it to print the rare document that needs to be printed out. Hooked it up with a USB cable and didn't try any of the additional features.

I bought this especially for printing from iPhone. So far it has been working very well. Only issue it doesn't wake up when sending print job to it

I had a bit of a hard time in the beginning but it definitely does its job. Might take a bit slow to strt up once powered off but it's very high tech for its price and overall a good printer.
