Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the PIXMA MG7520's print quality, ease of use, and wireless functionality, with many praising its convenient setup and sleek design. However, some customers expressed concerns regarding the printer's noise level, limited paper tray capacity, and occasional reliability issues. The warm-up time was also cited as a potential drawback by a few users. Overall, the positive feedback on print quality and ease of use outweighs the negative comments on minor inconveniences.

Recently my old HP printer of 6+ years started to have ink system errors. I started my search for a new printer which had a number of key features including photo printing, separate ink cartridges for each color, handling of both plain and photo paper, duplex printing, integral scanner (but no need for fax), ethernet or wifi connectivity, and Airplay support. My search produced the Canon Pixma MG7520 printer which had good online reviews (both BestBuy and others) and I have not been disappointed to date. The printer is quick, produces excellent output quality including photos, and works well on the network as well as with Airplay. Ink cartridges are reasonably priced. Yet to be determined is how long they will last in normal use of mostly printed documents with occasional photos.

So far I am very happy with this all-in-one printer. It is my first Canon after decades of various HP printers. It was true plug-n-play for wireless use by all of our devices. Photo prints are excellent. I just tried the automatic two sided printing feature. I thought I would have to reload the pages for the second side, but the printer does it all on its own.

My old Canon printer gave out after many years of good service. This new model is very similar in ease of use and performance, plus it's wireless. It is a nice size and looks attractive. It does feel like a lighter weight housing than my last one. Pictures are good. If I were to find a fault, it would be the diminishing sizes of ink cartridges. But then all the brands are doing that as well.

This has been a great printer for both 4x6 prints up to letter size. Easy to hook- up and very easy to setup and print wirelessly.

This is the best printer that I have ever purchased. I love the print quality, the easy set-up, and the ink lasts longer than any other printer that I've owned.

I literally just plugged this in and connected it to WiFi. when I opened my laptop the drivers were already installed. B&W prints look great. We haven't tried printing photos yet, but I know Canon puts out great products. The only minor issue we had was making sure we had a strong WiFi connection with the printer. We first at it up in the far corner of our house that had a weak signal and it would print like half the page and then quit. Unfortunately the printer doesn't warm you about this.

I replaced my old Canon MP620 with the MG7520 because of windows 8 compatibility issues with the scan function. The 7520 is great and I like the addition of the gray cartridge for improved color printing. The print quality is excellent. I do wish the cartridges were a bit less expensive. Cartridges are 22% larger than for the 620 but 61% more expensive. I would have given 5 stars if not for that.

It often fails to print; then later prints sometimes with multiple copies. Other than these recurring connectivity problems, I like it a lot. Quality prints, lots of options, smallish. Recommended.

I've had about four other printers over the past few years, but this one is by far the easiest installation I've ever encountered. Out of the box, set up, printing and scanning wirelessly in just a few minutes. Print quality is good. The only two down sides so far are paper capacity is a bit small, and the fact that you must open the front cover in order to print since that is the paper tray. It's only an inconvenience since my printer is not collocated with the computer. These are only minor inconveniences and don't outweigh the fact that this is a good value.

I always base how good a printer is by the way it prints pictures. This cannon is great for printing pictures. I love that you can put different sized paper in one tray and have your regular letter size in another tray. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is that sometimes it takes long to get going such as starting to print the document.

My Photosmart 3210 finally died. It had been a fabulous photo printer. To replace it I bought an HP Officejet. It is a good document printer but I wanted a better photo printer, so I did more research and bought this one. The pictures I've printed are beautiful!! So bright and clear! I used the few sheets of Canon paper that came with the printer first and then used a few sheets of HP glossy paper I already had. The pics with the Canon paper are much better, but at least I know it will print an acceptable photo with other types of paper if I get in a jam. There are lots of different ink cartridges... 6 to be exact. I haven't had it long enough to know how economical it is on ink.

Now that I have used my new Canon PIXMA printer, I love it. I had to have someone come and help me get it connected to my laptop but once that was done and I started printing pictures with it, it has exceeded my expectations. The photo colors are great and come out clear right away. The inks are so easy to change and the paper tray holds lots more than my last printer. I use it mostly for pictures but other printing is just fine too.

Awesome printer. Easy setup. Great picture quality. Quiet. And the best looking printer by far. On neg. it uses the ink pretty fast. But that just may be like the rest of the printers.

Actually bought this product because my wife wanted to scan a bunch of old photos. Since I hadn't used a flatbed scanner in years, I was pleasantly surprised to see this scanner auto detects photo size and creates a good jpg in a pass. If you simply want to archive photos, this is great. Then I used the printer function to print, ironically enough, the email for picking up a Best Buy order. Good color, sharp quality, and faster than I expected from a multifunction machine. Very good quality for the price.
