A huge plus for this printer is that it came with full sized ink cartridges. Easy to set up all my Apple devices to this printer as well as my window based laptops. The only downside is that the separate picture paper tray won't hold 8x11 size, which is why it gets 4 out of 5 stars. The print quality is great for both documents and pictures.

This printer provides all the features needed for home use. It has a reasonably large paper tray and a separate tray for envelopes. The set up is intuitive and guides you through the setup and linkage to your in home wi-fi and how to link your computers. Works great.

Very pleased with this printer. Not only does it print great pictures, it spits out black and white pages quickly too. Can't comment on ink consumption as I am still on the "starter" cartridges. Easy setup too and doesn't squeak like the other Brother I tried.

Bought this printer following a print head failure on another Canon product. I'm glad I stuck with Canon. This printer had all the features I needed for a very reasonable price. No complaints so far at all and we used it for all of the wedding stationary.

I love all of the features including touch screen and automatic tray opener. I bought this so I could print photos and colored prints. I will say that the ink soaks through regular paper and find that I have to use a heavier weight of printer paper.

Am very satisfied with my Canon printer. As always Canon makes very high quality printers which are capable not only of good copies, clear scans, but beautiful , sharp, quality pictures.

I love this printer! It's so convenient that I can print wirelessly. You're able to print pictures as well as documents. Printing pictures come out sharp! Printer ink is expensive but it's worth it!

The printer was very easy to set up (be sure to remove the shipping "tie-down" tapes in a few places before attempting to use it. The duplex printing feature is really nice compared to models where you have to manually remove-flip over pages and replace into paper feed source. While I miss the "profile" feature of other HP printers, each print job can be easily modified before printing. I have this installed as a network printer on my LAN, and it works fine when requested from a MACBook laptop. The print quality is excellent, and it supports ink-saving Draft mode. Recommend it.

Can easily scan one page, or multiple page documents into the computer. Wireless makes it easy to place with no worries about connecting cables. No worries about opening the door before printing as it will do that for you automatically.

The relatively small footprint compares well to my prior printer. I have not used this printer a lot to date but for what I have printed it has performed well. Once printing has begun it is quick but the preparation to print and shutdown seems to take longer than should be expected; there seems to be a lot of processing before printing. Also, I would have liked better control over black only printing. According to the manual, inks other than black may be used when printing in grayscale. If it is going to be black, it should be easy to select black only. Overall, I am satisfied with this printer and expect it to serve my purposes well. I would say, though, that the manual appears to be overly complex and does not lend itself well to a page by page sequential approach to learning about the printer.

I bought the canon printer mainly because a best buy associate said it was very compatible with apple devices. The disc that was included was for windows and there were no manuals that suggested where to get the correct software. I assumed the website would have the correct download. Thankfully it was an easy find and downloaded very quickly. The install process and wireless set up were a breeze after that. Love how fast it prints and the quality of the picture

We were looking for a decent printer at a low price. My wife takes a lot of pictures and the Reps at the store were helpful in understanding our needs. We looked at a variety of printers and liked this one the best. Wireless is the way to go!!!!

I am so pleased with this printer. Set up was a little challenging for me but after rereading the instructions I finally got it! Very good quality. Like being able to print wireless.

I purchased this printer mostly to print large volumes because I am a Graduate student. I have also been very impressed with the quality of the small amount of photo prints I have done.

Glad I finally defected from an HP. Wireless printer works every time. No loss of connection,(working offline, turn off, restart, pull plug, disconnect wireless modem, etc) all the trouble the old unit gave us is a thing of the past.

I purchased this printer to replace a prior Canon model and to print DVD and Blu Ray discs. Good quality printing... So far so good. The ink does not last very long, however.

I purchased this for school not too long ago. It works fantastic and does more than I thought it would, printing is a breeze and the quality is off the charts for the price.

I was looking for an all round printer with capability to print CD/DVD labels. This printer prints direct to printable CDs/DVS; a better process. Does a great job, easy to use.
