Such a great printer... where to start my last 2 printers I had either wouldn't print what I needed or took about an hour to print. Most of the time they would print the same thing multiple times even though I didn't want that and the pictures were rough. This printer does everything flawlessly, I'm very happy

I purchased this online at Best Buy Website and had it shipped to my local store. It works pretty well. I am using an ethernet cable and can print with all my pc's mac's and tablets from anywhere in the house. This is a good feature for me. It is Gold colored plastic. This suits the colors of the room it is in. It took me a while to setup read the instructions.

We had a HP printer for many years but started to miss print outs so we started to check other brands. The Canon printer has easy set up, download from web on your PC their SW and it locates your printer automatically and you are done. The color cartridges you need after unwrapping give a little push down each so they click in place...it also comes w a picture app...very nice

Having a low quality hp wireless printer, I was in the market for an upgrade. This printer definitely fit the bill! Image quality is great, easy to set-up, and the wireless component is a dream. Perfect addition to my home office!

We got this printer to replace an older canon pixma. Setup was a breeze and printing wirelessly on our iPhone/iPad and computers works flawlessly. The android app is a bit cumbersome as you seem to be able to only print through that app. The one con of this printer is that the startup time takes a bit longer than expected it no dealbreaker

The customer service person at the store was very helpful in making the selection of the printer. We recently purchased another Canon printer that did not deliver the color quality we wanted. This one is much better for printing pictures and that is all we use this printer for.

I have barely used this printer in the couple of months that I've had it. Maybe I've used it just a handful of times and it already has issues. I'm thinking about returning it if it's still within the time period. Problems: 1. It takes a few minutes to set up when turning it back on. I don't know what it's doing, but it sure takes too long to do it. You will definitely have to resend the print request if you sent it before waking it up. 2. The nfc beam doesn't work. I don't know if it's my not doing something right, or what. There was always an error. 3. This past week, the direct connect to print stopped working. It worked fine the last time I used it. All I get is it can't communicate to the printer or says that the printer is in an "error state". Even after the printer promoted me to update again (saying there was an update on the server), it still doesn't work. I'm praying the wifi connect doesn't stop working as I saw other people complain of that with this series of printers as well. 4. It's slow to start printing. Even though I can have my laptop next to the printer or even literally on top of the printer, sometimes it takes a long time for it to get sent to the printer. 5. There is no real online support. I can't find any threads for a solution with the direct to print issue. Also there is no driver support for Windows 10. I went to their website to see if I needed a driver upgrade to solve the problem, but as of now there aren't any for Windows 10 users as they have not done tests. I feel a bit defeated as a few other products I bought the same day at bestbuy are not working properly and I really don't know yet what would be the best replacement if I can get it replaced. It took long enough to choose this one, and I'm just tired. I don't want to get another expensive printer and have a repeat problem. This doesn't get a 1 star because it does print ok when it decides to print. But I have yet to test printing a photo or disc label.

I have owned HP printers for 20 years. My last Envy printer messed up after a little over a year. The customer service wouldn't help me at all. So I decided right then I would try a different brand. I did a little reading reviews and decided on this Cannon printer. I absolutely love it. I'm so glad hp wouldn't help me. The Cannon is so much better than the hp. It turns itself on when you need to print from another room. The photos are very good, much better than hp printers. Awesome printer!

Multiple functions. Easy to use. Great colors for photos.

We really enjoy using this printer. The wireless capability of being able to print from our phone, iPad or computer is really nice. The photo quality is also fantastic when we print it on the glossy printer. No more going to walgreens or walmart to print any photos.

Wasn't sure about a printer because it has been so long since I bought one. I hate spending so much on ink. This printer has a lot of wireless features we use. Also looks really nice in white and isn't huge either. Prints beautiful Pictures! I have trusted Canon for a long time now and thats another reason I went with this Printer.

I previously owned and Epson. Pretty much the same level and category as this cannon and by far this printer is superior. Faster prints, better picture printer, quieter and most of all, quicker to warm up and print. My Epson kept having issues with printer jam, ip address not reading when i ping it (might be my issue) and going offline alot when I try to wireless print. Range is terrible and have to be close by. But this cannon printer. 5 stars and nothing less.

Purchased for my spouse who could not find satisfactory printing options at reasonable prices. Printer is easy to set up and use. Software works just fine. Prints are of exceptional quality and ink cartridges last a long time. Additional functions like copy and scan easy to use and work well. Highly recommended.

Ok, the style of this printer is fantastic. When it actually prints the full page you tell it to print, the print quality is 20 out of 10. AMAZING. The problem is, wherher I use wifi or a direct cable. I can only get this to print the whole page like one out of every 15 pages. I get one third of the page, then 3 lines and then 2 thirds of the page. If this didnt have this issue I'd highly highly recommend this printer, just know that whatever you try and print. You never know how much is actually going to print out on the piece of paper, it just picks a random spot to stop printing and spit the paper out. Btw I'm on the newest firmware 2.0.

It is very easy to use and pair with many devices! . Its great of you are one who loves printing pictures. Myself, in the otherhand, realized i didnt needed as much as I thought I would... but if you are crazy about having pictures printed out, then I highly recommend it!

Because my previous Canon IP Pixma 6700 printer became unusable when I switched to Windows 10 recently I was in need of a new printer. Because I had good service and performance out of my two previous Canon printers I looked for another one. In talking to one of the Best Buy people from the Baxter store she recommended the Pixma MG 7720 as a very good all around printer and it was currently on sale @ Best Buy. I went on line and checked it out and read some of the reviews and made a choice to get one. I received the new printer in just a few days and was able to successfully get it up and running in a fairly short time. So far the use that I have had with the new printer has been very good. The old printer, however was easier to see when I needed paper and to be able to fill same. One other complaint that I might have is that there is no owner's/user's manual and to understand how to do things I have to pull up the manual on my screen. I look forward to learning more about the new printer as I know that it has many more capabilities than my old one had. So far so good and I would say that I am glad that I made the purchase that I did.

I'm running Win 10 and wanted a printer that would both print and scan documents and photographs. Most printers automatically connect to a new computer. This one has only partially done so. Printing works okay -- decent photo quality -- but the printer appears to disconnect whenever it is turned off. Since it shuts itself off between jobs as a power saving feature, this means I have to re-start for every session. If I simply hit "print", my computer will tell me there is no printer connected and nothing happens. To correct this, I must turn the printer back on manually -- touch the "on" button on the printer, not a command from the computer -- every time I want to print. Once I do that, it prints fine. This is not a show stopper, but it is something of a nuisance. Also, on my old HP printer I could scan from Paint or from the Win 10 default "Scan" block. On this printer only the Canon scan program works. The other options can't find the printer and don't work. Again, this is not a show stopper, because the Canon scan program does work okay, but it is a nuisance. It makes scanning more complicated than it should be, and that's disappointing. This printer does use a lot of ink when printing color images. I have it set for photo printing since switching back and forth on print quality is a pain. As a result, when I print an occasional color image on regular paper the pages are so saturated that they feel almost damp to the touch. I haven't done enough printing yet to determine how long the individual ink cartridges will last. For print quality I would have given this printer a 5. It does well on documents and photographs. I downgraded to a 4 because of the connectivity quirks listed above, Because of the print quality I would recommend this printer to a friend -- but I would caveat my recommendation with cautions about possible connection issues. If anyone is willing to deal with the quirks, then it's a good printer.

I had been a long time HP printer guy until I got this one. I do a lot of photography work and this is the best printer I've seen yet. Awesome prints.
