    Great Overall Printer!!

Have had this printer for several months and am very pleased with its performance. We were replacing an HP printer that constantly had trouble connecting with the wifi and no trouble at all with this printer!! It was very quick to set up and worked without one problem since we got it. I use it mostly to copy documents, print information off of the internet, and print photos. The colors are brilliant and crisp in the photos. It is very fast as far as copying (at least in black and white.....we haven't actually copied any color documents). I like how you can tell the printer what kind of paper you just loaded (it automatically asks you whenever the paper tray has been pulled out) and then it goes right on with the printing job immediately. We already LOVE this printer as compared to the previous one we had for years and were just waiting for it to die before we could justify buying a new one.

This is our first printer. We were looking for an all in one printer we could mainly print out documents with using our iPhones, the occasional scan or printed photo. We came into the store and was assisted by a geek squad accociate who told us the difference between all of the printers. We went for this Canon. The price was very reasonable and so were the ink refills. We also loved the sleek white design with touch screen. The picture printing is awesome! I didn't expect a printer to print such high quality prints so I never even considered it as an priority. Now, that's all we have used it for at home so far. We can now hang more pictures in frames in the house. You download the canon app in the Apple Store and use that to print your pictures from your phone. Overall we love it! Great price, design and features.

    Canon - PIXMA MG7720 Wireless All-In-One Printer

I got this printer to replace an Epson photo printer that had terminally gunked up on the inkjet outputs. I am very happy with this, it paid wirelessly with not only my laptop, but my iPad and iPhone. I can literally print anything from all my devices, no matter where I’m standing in my apartment. Not only that, but when using photo paper, the prints look just as good as when I used to have them printed at Walgreens, but I can print whatever size I’d like - up to 8.5”x11”.

We picked up this printer due to the wireless feature. Along with great range and a easy to understand dashboard, this has been the best printer we have purchased. Easy to get up and running, and low profile fits cramped places. Awesome pickup!!

I have had always had Epson inkjet printers. I read reviews both on sites and even manufactures sites. Went with the Canon, wanted good quality photos and to do retouching/restoring. Wow, this machine is not the machine for restoring, took it back to Best Buy and exchanged it for the Epson XP-830 and amazing restoring with 2 touch buttons. Picture quality between the two printers-identical, also the Epson on Sale for $99.99, you won't be sorry with either depending on your needs.

Printer does excellent photos!! It also has a cd adapter under one of the trays so you can print on labels of cd's and dvd's. It is one of the few printers that has 9600 dpi printing. It has a touch screen advanced mode where you can crop your photos right from the screen. As far as text it has built in templates such as notebook paper and does double sided. It will also print legal size. People are AMAZED at my photos!! Much better than store ordered photos quality! It also comes with software so you can take a video, choose a great shot from the video and it turns it into a great photo! highly recommend!!

This printer was a replacement for an older PIXMA printer that provided many years of reliable service before it died of mechanical failure, not software. I was able to get it up and running on two computers in about an hour and with minimal frustration. As other reviewers have said, you need to follow the directions carefully and sometimes the path thru them gets a bit confusing. I wish it had the capacity to handle letter size paper in both cassettes that my old PIXMA did but other than that I'm quite satisfied.

This printer is just what I needed. It turns itself off and when I hit print from another room, it turns itself on and prints. I love it. Also prints great pictures.

I just bought this printer yesterday, and I love it. It's quiet and not real noisy like my HP Office Jet printer I had before. It was kinda confusing to connect my MacBook Pro with the printer at first. I went to the Canon website, followed their directions, and input my internet password in my printer, once I did that, it connected wirelessly to my MacBrook Pro right away, and I was then set and ready to go. All in all so far, I love this printer.

    Awesome Photos, So-So Reliability

I bought this printer primarily because of its outstanding photo quality, and it has not disappointed on that end. What has been somewhat disappointing, however, is its ease of use. Other wireless printers that I've had (one from Brother and one from HP) will stay in a standby mode when not in use, and will wake up and print consistently. This one seems to be hit or miss on whether it will actually wake up. I've had to reprint several documents because the printer didn't wake up and the documents didn't stay in the queue.

I am surprised by the great reviews. I am completely underwhelemed with my printer. It functioned fine and I think this would be a good second printer. But, the paper tray is so small, I can'try get through one project without having to refill the printer tray multiple times. Most importantly, the ink doesn't last very long...okay they are small units, but the cost of the ink is high in the long run. Like I said, would be a good second printer, but not a good primary printer. B

I have had this all-in-one for two weeks. The print and scan quality seems to be good, but the GUI is a disappointment. The scanner often gets the aspect ratio for the scanned documents wrong, and there is no way to adjust it. In many cases this results in excess white space, which can at least be corrected with third party software. However it also results in images that are truncated or cropped inappropriately and cannot be adjusted. In addition, the only options for adjusting scan resolutions are low, medium, and, high. I would not recommend this machine for anything more than the most basic needs.

After reading the pro and con reviews I was a little hesitant about the purchase. Maybe I got lucky but install went smooth and everything works and the prints are great. Pictures are better than the on screen of my PC. The standard print of a Document is clear and crisp. If you follow the instructions for install works great. Little slow for pic's and print but worth it. Definitely not a business printer but for home use and home office great.

My original review was 4 stars as we could not find a way to load legal paper. After getting a response to our email to Customer Service, we were told how to change the tray to accommodate 14" paper. The printer is very quiet which is a nice feature. It does take a bit of time to actually start printing but so did our older Cannon of a different model. We intend to use the XL cartridges when the original ones wear out.

Very easy to hook up. Prints quick and clean text and nice photos. I have used it for 4 x 6 pictures as I have a Canon Pro 100 for all my large photos. Has been very dependable with no problems with printing, scanning and copying. WiFi connectivity always works, no matter witch computer I use on my network.

I was hoping for a simple printer to print high-resolution artwork (I'm a digital/mixed media artist). While this prints regular documents with high quality, it doesn't quite print images with the same clarity. It's great for text documents.

The printer will not print on card stock. It only prints on a paper if it is the selected source on your computer. Otherwise print quality for pictures and letters is good. Easy setup and operation.

Hard to set up at least for Macs

OK, so my computer person just finished getting the printer set. It took all afternoon. It was a harrowing experience for both of us and cost me more than twice what the printer cost. I think much time was lost because my computer is a Mac and the set up instructions are written for Windows, per Canon cudt So following the instructions leads to a dead end with no clue why. Canon cust svc was helpful but had to call Apple Which cost another hour or so. Then back to Canon. Had to backtrack and another long session to finish. Also learned how to set up for scanning which I was told is again made more difficult by Apple. So far first tries presented OK results. Speed OK but not great. Unable to use on Draft setting (it would just revert to higher setting which just wastes ink). I'll check in again if my upset from the setup wanes and no new problems arise.
