I don't know why I continue to buy Canon printers-other than the print quality is excellent. This is the third Pixma I've bought. The shelf life on these seems to be about 2 years; However, this one I have had for less than 24 hours and I'm already having problems with the paper feed. Which is my number one complaint with these cheaply made printers. I strongly recommend you do not purchase this product. It is barely worth 99.99, let alone the 199.99 price I paid. I will be returning the product.

I have this printer in red. (I have owned a number of HPs and a laser.) I am buying a 2nd Canon - Pixma MG7720 for my son who is going to boarding school. It works great...a little noisy though. Consumer Reports gave this printer a very good rating but did not recommend probably because of the ink cost. I have been buying the generic ink on Amazon and it works perfectly fine and is a huge savings.(Others say the same in the generic ink ratings on Amazon.) I am buying the white one today for the sale price of $90. Total steal!

Never really had a photo printer before but I am impressed with the quality of pictures it prints. Better than some store quality prints!

This printer is worth the money...the Canon printer prints excellent pictures

We love this printer. It works absolutely fantastic.

I love this printer. The copies always look great when they come out. It feeds easy, it's way quieter than my last printer and the colors are great. The only downside is the ink is quite expensive, but it's to be expected these days. Would totally buy this printer again.

This is a great all in one printer, I am very happy with it. Setting it up seemed to take longer than usual & some onscreen instructions weren't very clear, but now that it is set up properly, I really like it. Canon always seems to make a good product.

Almost an excellent product! Except that fine scan copy does not produce identical image as clear as original. You can still be able to identify which one is the copied especially by look at Signature or hand writing scripts.

As stated by others - this printer uses waaaay too much ink !

We are very happy with this printer so far. Plus the ink is cheaper than our old HP.

Looked at many and found this one. It's awesome! Definitely recommended.

I bought this because my space is limited, the reviews seemed OK and the store recommended. First I wasted hours setting it up as the instructions are written for Windows not iOS but this is not mentioned anywhere that I know of. It's quite slow compared to my old HP. The worst part is waiting for it to get ready to print. It makes noises like its printing but for a long time doesn't actually start. Right now it just isn't printing for no reason I can see, after having stated "Processing " continuously for five minutes. So I rebooted and now it is doing nothing whatsoever. It guzzles ink. I have barely used it (fewer than 30 B and W pgs) since changing ALL the cartridges tho I never print in color. And that replacement was also required after very little usage. But now after rebooting it tells me I need to replace a cartridge. It only tells you one at a time but keeps telling you to replace another until all are redone. The variety color pack doesn't have grey so you have to buy it separately. Apparently it won't even try to print at all if one color is out. So I checked and the black cartridge is blinking even tho in addition to this black I have a double size black XL "ink tank " currently installed which hasn't kicked in at all, which I'm guessing is what it's for. So unlike my previous printer which didn't stop printing but just got fainter and then kicked over to pale yellow print but didn't stop totally until I decided to change it, this one apparently just decided for me though the last printed pg looked fine. Next it sometimes shows LED messages that I have no idea what they refer to, which has also stopped the printing cold in its tracks. My old printer you just pushed print. Scanning was quite easy too This one the directions for scanning on iOS anyway were so indescribably difficult that I never even tried. Another problem is that the paper support bar which originally popped up for printing and retracted automatically when finished no longer retracts. It just sticks up looking stupid all the time tho this doesn't hinder functionality. Since starting to write this review I got a msg that the cover was open. It wasn't. Now I'm getting a msg that there's either a foreign body in the device. There isn't. The machine then shut down. I restarted and tried again. But now it isn't even trying to print. Nor is there any msg as to the problem. This kind of thing happens so often that I'm usually frightened to try and print and so relieved when I actually succeed. Thus my emotional headline. No success tonight. I'll have to stop by Kinkos in the morning to print my theater tickets. I've printed more at Kinkos from my phone than I have from this machine. I think it will really be cheaper to toss this device and replace it than pay $65 every few pages for a not quite full set of new cartridges which always seem to need replacing together plus grey. And even it isn't cheaper, I plan to toss this as soon as I figure out what to try next. Any recommendations?

Why is this model so much more money than the Canon - PIXMA MX922 Network-Ready Wireless All-In-One Printer - Black? I can't see any difference.

I cannot believe that after printing probably no more than 40 pages this printer is already asking for ink. I probably should have read more of the reviews. Also, although I don't do many legal sized printing, the tray doesn't open up for legal - even though the settings ask you if you are using letter or legal. For the ink situation, I would not recommend this.

Couldn't get it set up. Tried connecting to smart phone.

Like really, I mean this printer is SLOOOOOOW! Color images come out well. Only use it as a secondary printer or have plenty of time to spare.
