After our old printer stopped working and a couple of review searches on the Cannon printer we decided to head to Best Buy and purchase it. Great wireless printer with AirPrint the old printer didn’t have. We only have to replace the ink cartridge that runs out. We bought a complete pack of ink for it as a backup and now when one ink runs out we can replace it and then purchase that cartridge to replenish our backup stock. This printer has excellent printing quality and features we might never utilize but great for college and high school papers that are the current projects.

All functions work fine. I'm having a little trouble setting up the fax to receive (with answering machine) but that's very minor at this point for me. I haven't called support yet but I'm sure once I spend the time to go through the options I'll get it figured out. On the initial start-up it does take it a little while to get situated before it start to print (copy, scan or fax). And it is a little noisy during this even on quiet mode but nothing I can't deal with. I haven't had enough time to judge the ink consumption. Time will tell on this but I'm keeping my hopes up. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase.

I bought this to replace a recently failed 9 year old Canon IP4300. Prints are excellent. As good or better than the defunct IP4300 and almost as good as my Canon Pro100. Getting it up and working properly was a pain. I have not enough use yet to comment on ink consumption. I have it about a month and have replaced the cyan, magenta and yellow tanks. The 2 black tanks are less than half full. The unit is big, heavy, slow and noisier than I expected. These are not detractors for me. The scanner is a joy. It is my first auto duplex scanner and I like it. My main complaint is the paper trays. There are two cassettes, the upper one for small photo paper and the lower one for larger paper. There is no sheet tray feeder. I print a lot of 8x10 photos and text documents. The upper cassette will not take 8X10. Thus the paper in the bottom cassette must be swapped out when the task changes. This will be a continuing pain in the butt. If you are looking for an impressive photo printer that does not bust the budget up front, this is a good choice. My 4 star rating is because it does not have a way to load letter and letter size photo paper at the same time, switching between feeders a needed. The other printers I've had/have allow any paper size in either source.

After our previous printer started having numerous problem with print quality and paper feeding we decided to purchase another printer. I had wanted to purchase the black and white laser from Brother but after speaking with an associate about the different printers and finding out this one was on sale for almost 50% off I chose it. We have had it for about 2 months now I think and so far it has worked very well. I am a little concerned about the longevity of the printer given all the automatic output tray dropping and the feel of how the paper tray is removed and inserted but haven't had any issues yet.

So far so good. Print quality good. my major issues with my last printer was more software related. I had a brother printer before that would constantly disconnect from my computer in addition to always having to download the latest firmware from their website to stay up to date. so far with this Canon printer I have not had any issues with the printer disconnecting from my laptop once I did the initial installation. now I do agree with the previous reviews regarding this printer in the fact that there is a significant delay in response when the printer has not been used for a while. But, you get used to it.

This printer works great. It was easy to setup and works as expected. The only drawback is that it is rather loud, but after a few times, you don't really notice it.

This is my second Canon model copier. It works well. I overused the first machine, for over 2 years making constant 80-90 student copies of work, almost daily. It is not meant for such over use in order to last longer. However, I'm familiar with the machine, like the clear printouts, and had many extra ordered ink replacements. I believe, the copier would last longer, if it was treated more gently on a daily basis. I really like this machine.

Excellent full feature printer. Worked out of the box with minimal configuring with laptop, iOS and android devices. On android don't waste too much time looking for the correct app as there is a built in print program

I had very good luck with my previous Canon printer (MP470) so I figure I'd give this one a shot. So far, so good. The only thing that is kind of annoying is the paper trays underneath the output tray. I also had an issue with one of the ink tanks not being recognized by the printer.. I contacted Canon and they had me check a few things then sent me a replacement tank. Printed a couple pictures out with the sample pack of 4x6 glossy photo paper and was pretty impressed. Something you may not be aware of if you have not seen this AIO in person is that it is quite large.

Very happy with this printer. Setup was a little daunting, but got it hooked up on my network and it's working great with all my computers. The settings in the scanning software need needs some tweaking, getting scans to save to the correct folders and to open the software you want. Print quality is excellent. I'm currently scanning all the family photo albums and so far it's a workhorse. Please note that when you're scanning a lot of items, the first one takes a bit longer for some reason. But after that initial one, it's very fast. I highly recommend it.
