I upgraded to the 992 to take advantage of the cloud printing capability. I like the fact that it's able to scan both sides of the page automatically. You also have trays for regular paper, as well as photo paper. Not sure if anyone can still find use of it, but you can print on CD, DVD as well. With Apple AirPrint, my 2nd grader prints his own homework from his iPad. No more bugging Daddy for help. My 4 year old prints her own pictures, too.

The printer was easy to set up and works wirelessly and flawlessly with all my Apple devices via Xfinity broadband. Just what I wanted!

Needed to replace lower model printer I had for one with a fax but didn't want to loose too much of the same style. Found this all in one at a great price.

Works well with my other devices. I can put the printer almost anywhere. Great clear copies.

I really like this printer. Easy to set up, Easy to use. Not sure about the ink usage yet, haven't had it that long. I would certainly buy again if needed.

Used primarily for printing documents this printer has proven a worthy replacement to the MX-860 I used previously. The MX-860 I flat-out used up. In the 8 years I owned that one it never faltered with 3 users on 3 different Apple PCs/laptops. I already expect the same from this model. The only reason it didn't get a 5th star was the wireless installation process is weakly documented. I went out to Canon's web site at one point to find better documentation which did help.

This printer is fine. I have used Canon printers for a while and like them the best. Quick and good quality for pictures and copies. Easy to use too.

From top to bottom, this product is outstanding. Color perfect, scans multiple pages and converts to PDF automatically. I have nothing but praises for this device.

Printer takes a while to maker the copy. Once the copy is produced, the copy is great quality.

This one is almost as good as the much more expensive Canon Pixma I previously had that finally gave out after many years of use, which was mostly for business. I read reviews that the WiFi wasn't very good, but I haven't had a single problem in the 2 months I've had it.

Set up was fairly easy to set. I Love the fact I can print from my IPhone to the printer...

Nothing bad to say about this printer (except perhaps that the on-printer controls are a bit less than intuitive). And the print quality is great!

I like this copier but had lots of problems with set up over Wi-Fi, received email instructions after inquiry but these were incomplete. Finally called number provided to talk to tech And he walked me through a different path than those given by email and finally got it set up. Normally I don't have problems like this with printers but this one needs a little help. The setup cd seems to be limited in ability to adapt to various computer systems.

I had good luck with my previous Canon printer (lasted 6 years with no issues then died) so I stayed with the brand. Fairly easy for a non-geek to set up, wifi hooked up to Windows and Mac desktops, laptop, only problem is we can only connect to 1 of our 2 chromebooks, no big deal. I like the dedicated tray for photo paper and the separate ink tanks. Only downside so far is the thing is really big compared to our old printer/scanner.

This printer prints great quality copy. I was impressed with quality for such a relatively low price.

I have only used the print function. The setup was easy , even for someone with only basic knowledge, like me. Prompts make the printer easy to use.

I had to spend at least an hour on the phone with a canon rep., he was great, to try to get my photos to print to a decent quality. No resolution except I should buy canon photo paper. I bought some and it didn’t help. I’ll keep trying but if it doesn’t get better, I’m going to return it. Besides, it’s loud and relatively slow.
