This printer does exactly what I was looking to have. And it uses the same ink cartridges as my previous printer.

Does everything as advertised. Great color prints. No complaints.

This printer is easy to set up and connecting to other devices is simple.

This printer works well wirelessly both directly from my iPhone and iPad using AirPrint as well as from my computer. Setup for printing was relatively easy. About the only area of setup that I had a little bit of problem with was getting it to scan to my computer, wirelessly. After reinstalling the software though, I was able to get that to work too. Copying is also easy and works well.

Printers are still not as easy as they should be and that's ridiculous.

This printer was easy to setup following the instructions included. Works great printing wirelessly from my iPad.

This printer is very easy to use. It prints documents/photos quickly.

My biggest kvetch is if you leave it on all the time say to answer faxes, etc. sometimes when you go to print a page it just sits there and does nothing. When that happens, you have to power it off and back on and then it will print. The manual (which you don't get a printed copy of) reads like an encyclopedia set. I really hate that the KISS principle seems to be a thing of the past. I bet less than 1% of the buyers use all the features that have been put into this thing. I would much prefer a simpler and more reliable machine. I had two Lexmarks, but they seem to have gone by the wayside for home units. I had an Epson that I got rid of after only a year and a half because it was always down for something.The Epson had a lot of fax incompatablity with other people's machines. This Canon unit is not as bulky, which is a plus. I have to use HP's at work, and not impressed with those either. Also, the cartridge set is overpriced, but most are. I miss my old Lexmark.

I was looking for a basic printer but could not keep my eyes off this Canon. I am so pleased that I decided to purchase it.

Does so many things for so little money. Every one should have one.

I absolutely love this printer/scanner and copier. Stick with Canon

HP seems to be a go to brand and cheap at times however printing is done more efficiently and ink last longer on a cannon.
